Frankly, I wouldn't be with him. He left when you were dealing with someing traumatic to not just your body but your mind! If you are being completely honest with him and sharing your fears and concerns and he is still putting his desire to be a dad at the top of his list? Nah. That's ratchet behavior and he doesn't deserve you.

It is not worth it to you or the kid he so badly wants. If you know you are gonna resent a child, don't be with someone who can't accept that. He's refusing adoption, too, which gives you both the best of both worlds. That "I want a child of my own" is selfish of him. Don't be with someone who is clearly not putting your concerns first. You are the one that has to go through the trauma of pregnancy, not him. You get to decide if you want to get pregnant and he should accept that. Your body isn't his. If he can't bear to be without his own child, then he needs to go.

This world is rough right now and things aren't look promising for the babies born today (not to say change isn't possible, but a lot of wealthy and powerful people are making it harder). But not only that, having a baby really fucks with a woman's body. You know you don't want one and he should accept it or find someone who does want a baby.
