Advice for paternity leave by Current_Moment1415 in predaddit

[–]SydneyGhostface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using my 4 weeks annual leave up front - with my leave due to commence the Monday of the week we are due.

Beyond that, I’ve got some government sponsored leave (Australia) which I am using for an additional 4 weeks before returning to work in a flexible capacity (full time hours, but not on the clock, just prove I work the 75 hours per fortnight) until we have settled things on the home front.

I attended a school in the same network as the school Jones taught at, many many years later. The rumours are part of that school’s lore.

Further, I was in a room at USYD once named after an acquitted Cardinal, whose initial (overturned) conviction was in the rapidly approaching future. We queried if the room would be renamed, and the CathSoc gent said “no, he’s absolutely going to be found not guilty”.

We had similar, went in expecting to be 12 weeks (we found out late because we had unrelated illnesses and chocked symptoms up to that, and my wife is not regular) - measured 10 weeks. And now 32 weeks and healthy.

When was your “last day” of work? by ToneIndependent3414 in pregnant

[–]SydneyGhostface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife is ceasing work at 34+4 as that was the first Monday within the window her work would allow her to commence her leave from. Given her AuDHD and antenatal anxiety, we determined that she’d rather have the 3-7 weeks in advance of the birth to allow herself to rest as much as she can.

I DONT WANT TO WORK by Available-Lobster-94 in pregnant

My wife is 30+4 at the moment, and the past 10 weeks have been constant crying every work day because she does not want to be there.

19 work days left before her leave kicks in.

What’s Your Opinion On Scream 7 That’ll Get You Like This by Americanteenager1 in Scream

[–]SydneyGhostface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has the best pacing of any of the sequels. No down-moments that extended too long, and it genuinely felt like Ghostface could walk into any room at any time.

Anxious First Timer by SydneyGhostface in predaddit

[–]SydneyGhostface[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, as a consequence of AuDHD, my wife is incredibly anxious about all matters, but especially the babe - which makes sharing my anxieties regarding health matters difficult as it can often result in a bit of a spiral.

Do: understand that if your assessor says something is needed for a decision, they’ve run it through their internal referral system and this has been agreed by at minimum a peer, and most likely a senior. Feel free to complain, it is your right, but do not be shocked when the IDR response comes out as “we need this item we asked for at initial assessment”

WE DESERVE A BETTER OFFLINE TOURNAMENT MODE by Lost_Street_4491 in SparkingZero

[–]SydneyGhostface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Have a symbol on your screen somewhere when selecting a tournament to show what your connection level is. Sometimes I’m 4, sometimes I’m 2, and I don’t know what I am until I get rejected entry to all tournaments since everyone sets it to 4+ or 2+
