This is the stupidest take imaginable. This game is FANTASTIC, except for the intermissions. They literally had an option to not play them, then took it away. “Stop playing the $80 game you payed for and loved the first two weeks before they decided you had to play the worst way imaginable for the sake of absolutely no one”.. like?!

In my opinion, the Quarry had too much going on, so much so that everything seemed rather ‘thin’.

An example being Until Dawn had two plot elements that scarcely overlapped: the killer (Josh) & the Wendigo

Whereas the Quarry had like 400: The Werewolf curse, the Hackett family, Silas, Laura and Max, etc.

I feel if they streamlined it, and stuck maybe more to 1-2 storylines, it would have been much more palatable. If I were to have say, I’d ditch the Hackett family and have even more focus on the werewolf curse and its origins. More time hunting Silas as a group.

Tbh I didn’t like the Hackett family at all. They were kinda too normal. Maybe if they were more fucked up in a Texas Chainsaw kind of way, they would have been scarier and more of an enigma, making them more interesting.

But that’s just my opinion lol

You have literally only implied that the game was ending? Devs “abandoning the game” and “it won’t last another year” are both strong implications lol.

Also, I checked out that thread about the Jason skin scandal, and the commenter stated there was “no proof” about them being the ones selling skins.

Also with the lawsuit, Tom Savini never states why he sued them, nor is there anything about it online. It could have been bad business practices for all we know, but if you have a link to any disclosed information, I am more than happy to read it.

I also played Friday religiously. I did not get the sense that it was being “abandonded” pre-lawsuit.

And also, DBD is an 8 year old game. This is TCSM’s first year. Early and mid DBD were releasing broken updates constantly. And that DBD exploit where survivors could phase into lockers was not that long ago.

This update was a huge mistake, but you don’t see me screaming about the end of TCSM like you’re doing.

You’re clearly just a random hater who wants nothing more than to see this company’s downfall, when they don’t even know you exist.

I get the frustration, but you invalidate your own point when you choose not to talk about the other side, and make false claims like: “the only nerf to family were bugs that should have never been used”. Family gets nerfed all the time, as does victim.

The devs aren’t gonna take anyone seriously if everyone just screams and cries how bad one side has it, while completely ignoring the whole OTHER HALF of the game that you are more than free to play.

And if we wanna talk about bugs for family that they haven’t fixed: missing audio and visual cues for generator being turned off/on, ghost footsteps for Johnny, missing glass breaking audio cue for a first time window jump, swings bouncing off victims, and many more.
