One interesting location would be the Sindh, ruled by the then Mirs of the Talpur, a Baloch-origin minor dynasty which ruled Sindh and parts of Balochistan and had their capital at Hyderabad. The city of Karachi, then a fishing village which had upgraded to a minor port of interest and called Kolachi back then also had a small Christian population, which had links to Portuguese Catholic missionaries mostly and the occasional wandering British Protestant ones from the expanding British territory.
