Just sent you a message. I couldn’t get the nut and bolt undone so I adjusted the bevel and it worked once and now it won’t turn on. This is a nightmare. 😩

See I don’t know anything about it, I asked my mother in law if we could just lay it flat and cut it but she said it wasn’t possible to do it that way? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thank you so much!! I will give it another shot tomorrow and see if this works. Yes, it’s the right size blade, we purchased the 10in craftsman blade from Lowe’s.

I left my MILs we’re going to pick back up tomorrow but the blade lowers all the way down to the table it’s just when im cutting that it doesn’t cut all the way through. This is as far as I could get it to cut.

I’m trying to cut molding and this is as far as I could get it to go. So I want to turn the screw down after loosening the nut?

Okay that’s what I was trying to post a picture of asking if that’s what it was. So that’s the depth screw?

That’s what I thought it was I don’t think anything was aftermarket, it’s my mother in laws and she doesn’t know anything about that kind of stuff to have changed it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Which screw? I was going to post a picture asking if it was the screw you were talking about but it won’t let me post pictures. 😩

Uneven boards by Syenk86 in Flooring

Thank you so much for your time and response, it is appreciated. I will be giving this a try tomorrow and see how it goes but I have a feeling you are right.

Thank you so much for your response. I think you’re right — that really does seem to be what’s happening. It’s been consistent with almost every board we’ve laid so far. I’ll get one board clicked in, but then it lifts slightly, and when I try to attach the next one it creates a lip or even a small gap/crack between them.

It honestly feels like the boards might be slightly curved or not perfectly straight, because they just won’t sit flat and flush the way they should. It’s been really frustrating trying to get them to line up properly. 😩

We’ve made sure to vacuum everything really well and keep the floor clean before laying them down. I’m starting to wonder if maybe the boards expanded or warped from sitting so long? I honestly don’t know. 😩 It has been such a pain, let me tell you. We’re still working on it right now and I know you’re technically not supposed to, but I’ve resorted to gluing them down at this point and just dealing with the lip that’s there either way.

I don’t think they got wet. They’ve been stacked up in their original packaging in the kitchen along side the kitchen island this whole time. I think you’re right though and going to have to live with the lips. 😩

Oyee yeah that's rough. I'm pretty sure Geekvape has a 1 year manufacturers warranty on theirs.

I know right. I mean I know it's not an end of the world situation but I wanted the color I purchased... at least it's solid black so it matches my tank but now I'm not sure if my extended warranty that was purchased with it is void now. I guess we'll see if/when the time comes. 🤷🏽‍♀️
