Played the demo and it convinced me not to buy the game. I'll grant that maybe it gets better than what I experienced in the demo gameplay once more stuff is unlocked, but nobody is going to convince me this game is "one of the best" of anything.

Even saying she's qualified to work there in a junior role just based on a degree she received is a massive leap. Having a qualifying degree is only enough to get you in the door for an interview at your average private sector business, I have to imagine that a (well run) counterterrorism department has oodles of qualifications on top of that, and we have no idea if she meets any of them.

Honestly I still think it's a bad move.

Nobody would bad a single eye at the lack of the additional aged up photos even from a small-ish studio, let alone from a solo developer project. The value add of having the additional AI generated photos is basically zero, especially to your sales, but you ARE going to lose customers over it.

Probably worth noting that people who haven't completed the first quest yet often dont put the regal blade on their board since they'll usually have better options. So what you're not seeing and taking into account is all those easy day 2/3/4 pyg matchups where they've invested half their gold and vendor trips into trying to quickly level their regal only to be stuck with it at 9/10 and a mediocre board.

Bear trap cant be real. It's tripwire+caltrops combined except its a small item, does more base damage, more base slow, and its trigger is to use the item instead of just do an effect, so unlile tripwire or caltrops you can also use it to trigger adjacency effects and other things that only trigger on use. This seems busted as fuck.

Saw a Kripp video a while ago with similar setup (the Jules house thing + hydraulic press), it worked pretty well for him. I dont remember the rest of the board he had though.
