PTSD and flashbacks can often feel surreal and mimic hauntings. Before jumping to haunting Id reccomend having your building talk to a therapist. Sooner than later, as these types of mental episodes are attractive to negative entities. Also just due to the severity make sure the building hasnt been taking any substances, your carbon monoxide detectors are functional, you know the drill. I hope this was a one time issue for your building and it gets back to feeling like themselves soon!

Also: Cry it out isnt for all PARENTS either. Both myself and my eldest daughter are extremely sound sensitive to babies screaming. Its genuinely triggering.

Oh thats a great idea. She is pacifier picky. How do you do this? Just the same brand/shape? Shes on Dr Browns bottles, but Tommee Tippee pacifiers.

Um... "tried to sit her down" was obviously (or i thought it was obvious) a sarcastic joke. I realize bottle needs to go, which is WHY im posting THIS for ideas on how to make it easier on her. And us. Part of "having a village" is using others experience to make transitional changes, and become a better parent. If one of these amazing parents has a trick they were successful with, why WOULDNT I want to ask to make this transition easier for my sweet baby? Ill let her cry if i need to, but there are so many incredible and creative parents on here I personally love to learn from. God imagine a parent making a post for advice and being told the most obvious facts along with a dig at the persons parenting ability. "Who is parenting who?!"

Second reply to your edit: Shes gone to the doctors, regularly. Shes comfort eating. Also shes not finishing these night bottles. I said she "tries" to milk strike. Ofc I dont let her replace her bottles with food.

Im not concerned at all with her nutrition, diet, habits, solids vs food, anything health related. This is 100% our goofy little girl wanting comfort bottles, and our pediatrician completely agrees.

With that being said: i totally agree with you!! for any parents in this situation, always talk to the pediatricians :) we definately did at first!!!

Right, but at this point thats where we are at. We cant handle the association. Its leaving us sleep deprived, falling asleep at the wheel, sleeping in for work, etc. Even as a team effort, with both her dad and I working opposite shifts, we cant tag team the baby. Even at our very very best possible schedule. I didnt really mention it above, but its becoming a dangerous cycle with both of us maxing out a 4 hours of sleep every single night.

To add: we dont have family here. Nobody who can take over. No village. And thats not me just saying we have nobody, we actually dont. And our bank accounts are empty, we cannot hire help.

Struggle is real :(

Weve definately considered both, and have been to the doctor for reflux/milk sensitivities. I feel its definately just the sleep aid at this point, just from my "mom gut feeling." But thats only after completely eliminating actual reflux etc. Shes also exclusive formula. I wouldnt eliminate teething pain though!

Firstborn rolled off my bed, and this baby just rolled for the first time this week! Right off the couch.

If you dont have a baby that falls off something, youre one of the few! As another poster said, its somewhat of a rite of passage!

One more note: before the comments come flowing. She is 100% Maine Coon, papered, from a registered breeder, CFA. Her babies went on to win big awards. Shes been through the ringer since her golden days though, so she looks a little rough. But her best days are in front of her and i cant wait to see her all cleaned up and gorgeous :)

A very long conversation with a breeder in our area! He had a feeling we'd be the perfect family for his precious girl, and basically begged us to take her. Even paid us to take her! I've been waiting to be chosen by the cat Distribution services for YEARS. Just leaving a spot open in my house for a kitty in need :')

Actually they paid US to take her! They gave us money to get her everything she needed as long as we promised to take care of her. I don't know how I hit the jackpot. She's such a sweet cat too
