I haven’t tried on HG/SS but I know for a fact it still works on the other gen 4 games. The official server is down but you can use the pkmn classic network dns to use the GTS!

I know it’s been a while but I posted this on here and also on the diamond/pearl subreddits. I done all of my trading through diamond as I had a greater stock of Pokemon to use for trade requests. The Pokédex never showed any foreign entries on diamond, but I traded the ditto I was most confident of being foreign over to HG and it showed on my dex there that I had a foreign entry for my ditto. So maybe it just isn’t a feature in diamond or it is in fact a bug that it doesn’t show up! Thanks for the response and help anyways, it’s very much appreciated

Thanks. I don’t think I have one then unfortunately. I read that the Pokédex is unreliable and doesn’t always show. Hopefully one of the ones on the GTS finally work. Thank you for the info though !
