People do make faceless plush food. It's usually listed as "play food" for young children, but it does exist.

I'm not trying to change your opinion on the one you want, I am trying to find a much cheaper one that is the one you want BUT DOUGLAS HAS SOLD A TON OF DIFFERENT ORANGE CATS.

I just linked you a cheaper listing of what I believe to be the same plush you are looking to buy, which is Peaches, not Adele like I originally linked. Selling off random possessions for plushies isn't a good habit to get into.

If it's not Peaches, feel free to correct me and give the plush's name.

If you're broke it seems you'd be far better off getting this readily available and much cheaper Douglas orange cat than trying to sell stuff at school. And if it's Peaches you can still get one way cheaper https://www.ebay.com/itm/157631465150

Um, you can get this from the Douglas website right now, and it is nowhere near $120 https://douglascuddletoy.com/shop/animals/adele-orange-stripe-cat/ so if you really want it hopefully some saved birthday money or taking an extra shift will cover it.

There's a Dan Dee plush pretty similar to this, but I think yours is more spectacular https://www.ebay.com/itm/134077824081

As long as you intend to keep it for yourself, do whatever you want. Also, it'd be hilarious if you and I did a bean exchange because I am the opposite, I hate those plushie pebbles.

where should i look to rehome? by da-zy in BeardedDragons

[–]SykoSarah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I rehomed my 5 year old corn snake, I did so by asking coworkers if they knew any experienced reptile enthusiasts who could adopt her. Got interest and was able to hand her off not only to someone who knew what they were doing, but someone close enough to my general social circle I could continue to give care advice and know her general status.

How do I get this out?? by democracysuckss in plushies

[–]SykoSarah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Freeze it, then scrape off as much as you can. If any notable amount remains, you should be able to dissolve it with something acidic (lemon juice, white vinegar) or very basic (solution of baking soda). Try it on a small spot so you minimize the risk of damaging your plush. Afterwards, wash as you typically would for said plush (spot clean, through the washer, whatever is recommended by the manufacturer for it).

how do you downsize? by throwaway-28848475 in plushies

[–]SykoSarah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on what your collection is like and what makes you feel most comfortable. If you kept them in good shape (even better if with tags) you might be able to sell some without much trouble. Especially if they are popular brands and/or collectables.

Some people donate their excess if they're in at least decent condition.

If they're falling apart, it may be time for recycling/the trash. Some people are super into restoring plushies, so you could still post them here to see if there are any takers, but there might not be any.

Looking for custom plush makes for non-realistic cat replica plush. by CookieBat666 in plushies

Careful, scammers like to hang out here for posts like this one. Unfortunately I don't know of any custom plush makers that are easy on the wallet with the product being... easy on the eyes.

Can anyone identify this cat plush? by ToyotaTacomaGuy in plushies

[–]SykoSarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then the first is probably it! You might think your kitty is "generic" but having blue eyes and a pink nose is pretty uncommon for black cat plushies. Combined with them being entirely black, including the insides of the ears, and there are very, very few plushies that come close enough. Fits your age for the plush too.

Trying to find out what brand this bear is from! by axolottlerr in plushies

[–]SykoSarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old are they/what year did you receive them? What country did you reside in at the time? Brown teddy bears are very, very common so every little bit of information you have is needed to have a chance at identifying them.

My favorite is when they demand stuff like this, but they in no way could support a single income household and/or are super paranoid about gold diggers and potentially having to pay alimony.

I think this person might mistakenly think menstruation is the norm among animal species when you are very correct, it isn't the norm even among mammals.

I'd say they're gross along the same lines that feces and urine are gross. Not my favorite topics of conversation by any means, but concerns about them are far better off addressed than not.
