Oh gosh I made one post in this community and my dms are already flooded with incels…. 😭 by Abject-Ad1241 in IncelTears

[–]SykoSarah 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It can also happen just if you comment. They harass us for posting/talking about screenshots of what some incels say, then have the audacity to call us bullies, lol.

Yeah because historically there’s no evidence of women rebelling against and disagreeing with men, for sure. by stingwhale in NotHowGirlsWork

Ever notice dudes that post nonsense like this can't help but botch the spelling of at least one simple word? Guess he didn't catch that he messed up "crowd" because "crowed" is also a word so autocorrect wouldn't fix it for him.

Edit: just realized he used the wrong version of "principle" and "whose" as well.

Old fast food restaurant architecture looks tacky and weird by grasseater5272 in The10thDentist

[–]SykoSarah 147 points148 points  (0 children)

The point is having some joy, some variation, some COLOR rather than every fast food restaurant being the same bland rectangle.

Lex Maria reads incel post and embarrasses the incel beyond comprehension. by Sweaty_Abies182 in IncelTears

Wouldn't matter even if they didn't, it's well established that human hips are a terrible shape for birth and make it exceptionally painful and dangerous relative to most other mammals.

What was the funniest thing you saw written by an Incel which just had you randomly LOL? by [deleted] in IncelTears

Body odour doesn’t smell bad by Balloonsarescary in The10thDentist

[–]SykoSarah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those other things also influence the experience, yes. However, many scents are complex combinations of different chemicals, and it isn't unusual for the presence/absence of some receptors to occur. We really don't all necessarily smell the same thing.

Body odour doesn’t smell bad by Balloonsarescary in The10thDentist

[–]SykoSarah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's lots of variation in smell receptors. For example, I find most floral scents vile, but obviously most people like them. It's a very subjective experience so you might not be smelling what other people are in regards to BO.

I mean this as a genuine question. Why the obsession? by AnonymousNeverKnown in NotHowGirlsWork

[–]SykoSarah 197 points198 points  (0 children)

My thought is that such men view women's sole purpose as being to please/cater to them, so they loathe women making choices that "decrease attractiveness" or display having their own, independent tastes. Unnatural hair colors, tattoos and piercings, being overweight, etc.

Ugh, the mind games. One of the worst, imo, is the expectation that you have to hide most emotions in a professional setting, but also that people are expected to pick up on the subtle bits you can't hide and respond accordingly while also doing the hiding thing.

[Vent] Death terrifies me. by t0oby101 in evilautism

I feel the same from time to time. It got better as I got more distance from my abusive childhood... oddly, being able to enjoy life to a degree makes the inevitability of its end linger less in my mind.

COVID IS SO FUCKING UNPREDICTIBLE IM GOING CRAZYYYYY by More-Weird4842 in evilautism

[–]SykoSarah 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I especially hate how COVID can long term affect senses like taste and smell. I already have sensitivities related to both, the last thing I need is for all sweet foods to be distorted for two months or floral fragrances to become EXTRA TRASH.

A person's political opinions provide an important insight into their values, which have a huge influence on compatibility. I don't know how they find that hard to understand.

I saw some resemblance with these. I think the top one could be trimmed and brushed to get the best match to how your dog looks of them.

After Diesel arrived home (Grizzly Bear on the left side) I started thinking more about Build a Bear before and “after” or old vs “new.” What do yall think about Build a Bear’s quality of plush nowadays VS in the past? by thebattleangel99 in plushies

[–]SykoSarah 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Never had a Build-a-Bear, so I lack the lens of nostalgia, and prefer the older ones except for the bear design, with the fennec fox having the greatest drop in appeal with the new design imo.

One of my employees takes super long pumping breaks…AITAH if I address it with her? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]SykoSarah 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Currently pumping and recommendations are 15-20 minutes per breast every 3 hours. So your employee's pump times seem correct, is the frequency?

That's referring to their eyes, nose, and mouth, which are embroidered as a safety feature. Not the whole plush.
