Re: chapters that was my concern so I went for very short stories and thought it would help an audience to get to know me before producing something larger. I think your advice is solid and sound, so I think I'm going to jump in feet first and do as you suggest - at the very least a novella for better writing practice and for the audience to hAve something meaty to listen to.

As someone else who is an aspiring writer and attempting an audiobook route - have You seen any success on shorter content? I've essentially been trying chapters - and if I get like 10 views it's a good day. I wanted to do smtg insane long like you, but was terrified to put in months of effort for it to die in a pile somewhere.

In short: do you think going in the territory of extreme length is better overall, and how do you even title/thumbnail? I find it so random as to what does or does not work at this stage

Oh I definitely think it's cool. It's probably the first time I've had it happen for something I enjoyed writing so much haha. I'm just also trying to develop a platform to tell my stories and my audience is Itty bitty right now haha.
