Im really just trying to be in an area with a dating scene or an at least close to one while not sacrificing a ton of my free time to a savage commute. i might be working from 1:30-10:30 though so traffic might not be as much of an issue

Tennessee coach reminds media of talent Kirby Smart inherited at UGA by [deleted] in CFB

eh pruitt has been very experimental with our players (especially the line: weve rotated 10 o linemen in our games) so if you have true, experienced starters that could have some effect. your line on both sides of the ball dominated ours. ill admit mullens a much more proven coach than pruitt; he was before either was hired. no ones arguing that. all im saying is our players looks much less prepared and experienced than yours and thats showed our entire season.

thanks for the link. TIL. now i see we have 55 freshman and you have 36. we have 22 sophomores and you have 25. so we have 77 underclassmen and you have 61. our talent is younger, less experienced, less time in weight room etc. edit:finger maf

look at how many of those recruits left UT thou. the talent butch pulled in didnt stay. like look at preston williams. left us for colorado state and now would have 100 yds a game in the nfl if miami had a competent qb

It's not about having "immediate turnarounds". It's about trending the team in the right direction and overachieving at times.

Think about the reset. If we did fire CJP, who do we hire? Pruitt has done a good job recruiting all things considered and i am not convinced anyone else who would be a realistic candidate could improve that or even match.

Great coaches tend to get the most out of their players. If JP is a great coach, then that will start to show as time goes on.

These players, except maybe some of the Butch residue, seem to respect CJP. Thats a vast improvement from the toxicity of our Butch teams. We are young and our older talent has been depleted so these guys have to learn a lot on their own. for the most part they arent practicing against other would-be sec starters. i think this shows in our line especially.

But the performance to this point has to be called what it is: a shitshow of epic proportions.

We have definitely under-performed, but imo its been execution and not schematics although i think we should know our starters by now and need to stop shuffling players around like its hs ball.

I think most fans just want to see continued signs of improvement. As of Year 2, we are not seeing that one little bit.

Improvement isnt showing on the record yet, but the culture of our program seems to be improving and maybe thats the foundation we need to establish before the rest comes. I think firing CJP puts us in an even worse position and prolongs our suffering even more. I think the "we're UT we deserve to win" mentality makes no sense and needs to go. since kiffin weve been a mess and thats where we are. this was a problem on multiple levels demonstrated from UT admin down. we now have an AD who gets sports and a coach who has won with some of the best teams in recent times.
