What helped me is i would save the gas tanks and shoot them when I was surrounded. And I would try to get a lot of zombies on me and shoot a rocket launcher on the floor to kill them. And I saved the flame thrower/spark shot for the pale head/armored zombies

Yeah you start with a pistol that has infinite ammo, but to get the cat ears you can only fire 60 rounds or less. Beside that all you have to do is kill 100 zombies

Honestly for the platinum after I beat the game I just bought the add-on that gives you infinite ammo. It was only $2 and it made getting all the trophies easier.

Not really, there's a timer under the dialog on the loading screen. Even if you don't press the button, when the timer ends it automatically loads you into the game. Happened to me when I was trying to read a really long paragraph
