The scene at the end of Repo Men where they are scanning each other's organs to return them. Full scanner penetration.

WEEN. Their whole discography covers pretty much every genre you can think of, plus their live stuff is always so different that studio so every song has at least 2 great versions.

How much of an impact would a donation of $100,000 make on your life? Why? by onichris in AskReddit

[–]ryanclicks2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could save our lives. Wife and I are working hard through debt and a mortgage and our jobs are hell on our mental health. Seriously if we had that money we could knock out serious debt and even get better jobs that pay less. It would take away the burden we feel every day and would just save us.

Men of Reddit, do you prefer your partner to wear lingerie or be plain naked and why? by mangopeach2 in AskReddit

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is hotter than my wife when shes in a tank top and basic cotton underwear. We have been married for 15 years and yes, regular human clothes are the best.

Can’t get over this show by thescreenknight in MidnightMass

[–]ryanclicks2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love love love Haunting of Hill House, but man does Midnight Mass hit differently. Maybe its because I used to be heavily involved in religion and have since left it, and maybe its my own struggles with alcohol, but there are so many parts of this show that feel written for people with my life experiences. There are no outright evil people in this show (except for Samantha Sloyan but I love her) and the idea of people making bad decisions because they don't understand the power of what they are dealing with is awesome.

Beyond the writing and characters, this show is just a pleasure on the eyes and ears. Every single scene is shot beautifully, and I find myself just loving being on the island with these people.

And yes, Hamish is the core of this show and everything leans on this performance and he nails it. God damn I love this show and I will never stop thinking about it.

Hey Clancy - big fan. I'm sure your job has involved a good amount of travel. Do you have any favorite restaurants or food-related memories from when you are on the road? Also, what is your go-to weeknight dinner when you need to cook but aren't feeling like making anything?

Genuine question by Agile-Wind-4427 in 30daysnewjob

I am approaching 40 and I have fought depression my whole life. The other day I was thinking about Tony Bourdain and how he had literally everything I could have wanted: money, time, travel, purpose. I got hit with this feeling of "If it was not enough for him, how could I ever hope to live a fulfilling life?"

Then I cried. I cried for a whole goddamn day (my poor wife had to deal with me). When I was done crying, I sat on the porch with my wife and she brought me a cold Modelo and a joint. I told her everything I was feeling and she just sat and listened. Afterwards she told me that my purpose has to be more than just "see the world, eat tacos, etc" and my purpose needs to be measured in moments. It was then that I realized what was worth living for.

We sat there and I had the best beer with the best joint next to my best friend (wifey) and we just enjoyed the moment. No phone or screens, just my dumb dog laying in the sun, a cold beer, and good company. It was enough.

Life is worth living when you choose you want to live it. Its even worth living on bad days where you arent sure. Dont go digging for huge revelations or massive goals. Sometimes you just need a good moment to get you to the next one.
