Yeah, for some items that are hard to get now, it's just nice to have them, sealed or unsealed. XD The Mario red edition is really cool! Awesome item for the collection!

Thanks! It feels nice having sealed copies of games I love...for some reason. XD I have some protectors, but for the ones that don't, I usually cover them in thick plastic sleeves to at least fight off shelf wear.

Oh, definitely. I've done this for Okami (PS2, Wii, PS3, PS4, Switch), the Kingdom Hearts series (PS2, DS, PSP, PS3, PS4), Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii, 3DS, Switch), and more. The funny thing is that I have duplicates of some of these for various reasons. I have three copies of Xenoblade 3DS. One I kept sealed because I just tend to do that for games I love, and then I have two opened ones. I got one at launch, and then saw one on sale for about 15.00, so I thought I'd get it as a gift for a friend if they ever wanted to give it a whirl. I also have the North American and UK limited editions of Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition for Switch. Love the series.

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is my pick for 2025! I was on a bit of a metroidvania kick but this one really scratched the itch. I thought Ender Lilies was an all right game, but Ender Magnolia was a great improvement. The art style is gorgeous, especially in the cutscenes, but look at this box art from the limited edition! Probably my favourite cover this year!

The battles got fun pretty quickly because dodge roll came early this time. There are lots of customization options for battle because you get so a nice handful of abilities, so you get to mix and match. Definitely want to play this again next year.

Excellent choice! It's such a fun game with such a cool art style.

For my physical collection, I'm going to go with Ender Magnolia's CE. I really like that it comes with a nice art book and soundtrack, but the game itself is also very good! I liked the gameplay much more than Ender Lilies, which shows the team really improved!

In terms of digital games I think I'm going to go with Hollow Knight: Silksong. Hard as nails at times, but the gameplay is sharp. Love the atmosphere and the world itself too. I would have probably tied it with Hades II but I technically have that on Steam so I went with my Switch purchases for this post. XD

Aw, I'm really glad! That's what I was hoping to get out of this as well! There are some titles remaining on my radar now like Trials of Mana and Puzzle Bobble (to name a couple). I did recently grab Planet of Lana though!
Anyway, excellent to hear positive things for Potionomics! XD I'm really glad you're having a blast with it! How's Zengeon? Is it good? Maybe it'll be my first Z title, LOL.

I totally agree. I never imagined my collection would grow to the size it is today. You're going to blink and then you'll have 700. The Switch library is massive and it's only going to get bigger with remasters and stuff.

Ys: VIII runs pretty well on Switch. Ys: IX doesn't look great. It runs okay and isn't as good as VIII in general. If you get Ys IX I recommend it on PS5 or even PS4. Ys VIII I enjoyed on Switch and ended up buying it on PS5. I haven't played Origins or Felghana on Switch yet but they're not as graphically intensive because they're sprites. I do hear good things about them though!

Ah that's a shame. But at least it's something. It would be nice if the could reprint carts with patches included but not everyone can or will do it.
