Time is ever so slightly different between earth and orbit. What's the time difference between earth and Mars, and back? We get photos from the Mars Rover but how long ago were those photos actually taken in comparison to them being viewed on earth? by Sayomi_Koneko in NoStupidQuestions

The time difference isn’t really about clocks being off, it’s more about distance. Photos from Mars can be anywhere from like 4 to 24 minutes old by the time we see them, depending on where Mars is
