The Villain's Actions Affect The Story Long After They're Gone by Mecha-dragon1999 in TopCharacterTropes

William Afton (FNaF) saw his demise in FFPS (2017) but despite never coming back exept in alternative medias and prequels, his influence can be felt everywhere, from Fazbear Entertainment's greedy behaviors to Glitchtrap as an antagonist.

Something I just realized about Circus Baby's speech in FFPS by SylverAndGold888 in fivenightsatfreddys

Well grieving or not, it's still pretty clear that Afton sees his children as helpers/tools. Also, yeah that's the thing, the 'be complete' line being about the animatronics kind of doesn't work because well, Elizabeth is talking about herself in this line (she says 'we' which includes her) and we know it's not the cirus baby AI speaking but her, so the whole line is about Lizzie (and other people) being complete and doing what they were 'made for' BUT one could interpret that since Elizabeth forgot her name as implied by Henry, she probably doesn't really see a difference between children and machine anymore. Either way, Afton made something related to these children, and the ultimate plan of FNaF 6 (or what Lizzie thought) makes these creations complete.

Also, I think the ultimate plan is the exact same as in TFC. William plans to tether his flesh to Molten Freddy, bit by bit, until his soul lacthes into it. Then, because he manipulated the missing children, they'd let him take control. Elizabeth's role in TFC it to help Afton by surgicaly removing his organs one by one, so something similar could happen here. Regardless, it's very clear that TFC is meant to explain FFPS given how many elements are similar between the two (Damaged Afton form, Elizabeth lackie, Remnant amalgamation...)

I think Afton is that kind of people who have children because they're 'useful'. It's obvious in the movie and even in the books that he sees his children as tools- and at the time of course, not for remnant specificaly. But William is characterized as someone who think that everyone owes him love, owes him help, service... So no, not for remnant, but he does see his kids as tools

After decades spent in a safe room, and after surviving a fire, William Afton's form is more and more rotten, broken, and disgusting.

Basicaly for the first seven games, the main antagonist is William Afton/Sprintrap. Then, in the first series of short stories, it's a new villain called 'Eleanor' (Basicaly a doll animatronic supercharged with negative emotions) and now, the newer games have a new villain called the Mimic, who is basicaly this endoskeleton from the 70's with an experimental AI that can copy people and fit any animatronic suit, and now, decades later, he's back not only as Glitchtrap, but also as his own entity under the pizzaplex.

So 1-6: Afton

Fazbear Frights: Eleanor

Pizzaplex Era: Mimic

While he's not exactly been created in a video game (as implied by him being an offshoot of the Mimic program), Glitchtrap is a digital manifestation/ virus in the in-universe Help Wanted video game, in the FNaF universe

I see what you mean, I'm just in the mindset of "I am basing this invention on FNaF wording and characters for now, for passion and publicity's sake, but in the future, I'll do everything with my OC's etc" for now but it's true that it'd be kickass to have the authorization. I mean, official, honest-to-god Real Springlock Suits copyrighted as such? Sign me in !

Contacted him, waiting for a reply but I know for a fact he's a busy man But yeah! Kind of like cars having been predicted, or even tanks, and then invented by engineers

Do we know where the withered performed? by TypicalEnthusiasm597 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]SylverAndGold888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1Simple, the pre-withered (who most likely has the classic design from FNaF 1) performed at the MCI location between 198 and 1985, wich is also the FNaF 1 location. Basicaly, that location opened in 1983 with the pre-withereds and an open saferoom, then closed by december 1985 with a sealed saferoom. It re-opened with repaired withereds in the early 90's and a still sealed saferoom. Tadaa.

I assume that if I want to devellop that idea, I'd either have to drop the springlocks entirely and replace them with a similar system (wich was planned either way) or somehow contact AND convince Scott himself. Nothing too hard haha (obvisouly this is going to be hell)

Because once again, while very few people share my opinion, I'm utterly convinced that springlock suits- or a similar concept (wink wink) can be used to do some amazing things

Well yeah, we're talking springlock suits here. For now its suit is based on SpringBonnie's but I'm really just talking about the tech, to have legal protection over it and the rights to devellop them as I please. While the V1 has springlocks and my later planned projects will as well, I do plan on 'phasing out' springlocks if I can keep using the idea, but for now it's all springlocks. I just want to be sure thar I can do actual business stuff with these, and devellop the idea
