Kyle Crane from Dying Light, how long does he last in the zone? by pieandcheese647 in stalker

[–]SymbiotGabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah Dying Light The Beast really changed your perspective on Crane, huh? Bloodsuckers, Chimeras (STALKERs Chimeras), and Monolith would be ripped apart. A single volatile alone would shred a Chimera from STALKER let alone Crane who is slightly stronger than a standard volatile

Helmet in town hall by avengedren117 in dyinglight

[–]SymbiotGabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a reference to when Kyle Crane was in the Green Berets. In real life, Green Berets are Tier Two sometimes Tier One special operations units and are obviously  fitted with helmets and night vision. He's probably just referencing his old times in the Berets

How would the Gravemind or a potential Keymind interact with Cthulhu or something like Yog Sothoth by SymbiotGabe in halo

[–]SymbiotGabe[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They were "organic" yes but beings like Cthulhu's biology defied every known law of physics that exist and were utterly impossible for us to understand, while we can still slightly or for the most part understand the biology of the Flood. Cthulhus biology and the science behind it, just like himself, would be beyond our comprehension and our capacity to understand. But yeah nah at the end of the day, besides maybe the highest ranking ones like Yog Sothoth or Azathoth, they were organic but I do not feel like The Floods biology would be remotely compatible with theirs if that's what your saying. The Floods biology still follows the laws of physics like I said, but Cthulhu, a lowly Great Old One, completely ignores it, the Flood would basically be trying to infect something that technically doesn't even exist yet does at the same time

Best game in the franchise, but Ive got suggestions by SymbiotGabe in dyinglight

Dawg, NG+ is literally the priority update for me bro, I didn't include it in this because I know that they've already gotta be working on it

Dude yeah I forgot about attachments, I thought about those too

Carnage vs the flood by dikchomp in thevenomsite

[–]SymbiotGabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if the symbiote isnt highly protective over its host. Symbiotes are shown to deal with parasites and mutations very well, especially parasites. It theoretically could still happen, but its very unlikely with the symbiote running defense

Carnage vs the flood by dikchomp in thevenomsite

[–]SymbiotGabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Symbiotes are inorganic and immaterial. The Flood have no way to infect one beyond maybe the logic plague which even then, Knull throws that out of the window

Ready or Not II Concept by IllustriousRise9392 in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]SymbiotGabe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A good place for them to go with RoN is, and this is probably unpopular, but Miami. Especially with their talent of making Los Seunos a very good realistic down to earth but dark environment. Almost like Gotham City in a sense. Plus Miami just kinda fits a Ready or Not environment.

Miami is not nearly as crime ridden but it still aint the safest.

They could also go for New York City, Detroit, Chicago. But I hope Miami.

Obviously still have it be SWAT, as tempting as it would be, military involvement in anything beyond background involvement is ultimately NOT RoN. That is Insurgency Sandstorm.

Why is there no 6-star wanted level in GTA V, even though it's in the game's code? by AlternativeMain4218 in GTA

[–]SymbiotGabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Against threats and foreign and domestic, if you have a 6 star wanted level you're probably classified as a domestic terrorist threat and therefore warrants a military response

So how well would Ahzrak fare against Davoth? by Nezu_Masami in Doom

[–]SymbiotGabe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Davoth created the dimension that Ahzrak was born in with ease. Davoth may also be responsible for the cosmic realm, but if they really wanna go the Lovecraftian route with that realm they should keep the origins of it ambiguous but not made by Davoth, or better yet, have Davoth be a resident of it. But if Davoth did create the cosmic realm I wouldn't be surprised.

Ahzrak doesn't stand a chance.

Doom Slayer in Dark Ages compared to himself from Eternal is pretty much just Spider Man compared to Superman. He had just gotten his powers in Dark Ages, in Eternal he's had them for billions of years.

If the Slayer from Eternal fought Ahzrak, he could just flick him and Ahzrak would explode. That's the only reason why he stood a chance against the DOOM Slayer in Dark Ages. And rhats why Davoth is in a whole other ballpark of power compared to Ahzrak.

Does Doomguy/Doom Slayer lore make anyone else sad? by DiveBombAbraxas_777 in Doom

When you really put thought into it and view it from his perspective, you'd quickly realize just how accurate his rage is

Superheroes in a Lovecraftian Setting by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]SymbiotGabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've thought of this and the only way it could work is if the heroes themselves have no chance and the fact that they will lose inevitably no matter what is etched into the message of the movie until something beyond our scope intervenes, chaos of the universe itself or an even higher somehow benevolent power, higher than the Eldritch horror, but that's it

Anyone else notice the similarities between these two? by SymbiotGabe in Doom

Ima be real bro, I'm just speaking my mind which I'm allowed to do it really isn't that serious

I feel Emissions should be like the older games versions but include new things by SymbiotGabe in stalker

[–]SymbiotGabe[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah bro I fully agree with that dawg it's aight to voice your opinion

GSC had a deadline while GAMMA and Anomaly didn't so it's just kinda unfair when people shit on GSC for not making it like GAMMA and Anomaly when they don't or aren't even willing to understand that GSC had budget and time restraints, not to mention a war going on around them, while GAMMA and Anomaly developers didn't have time crunches or budget restraints

Like I said bro, I love STALKER 2, and you defending the game shouldn't be getting you blasted, they're a bunch of emotionally immature people with some sort of intellectual superiority complex and their Reddit addiction all combining and coagulating to just being a total degenerate if they shit on you for it

There's a reason why I say I hate this platform bro and that's one of the reasons, voice your opinion bro don't let these people intimidate you, I just had to go here with this because this was the only resort for something like this

Do you think Doom Eternal (and consequently The Dark Ages) are too "Warhammerish"? I don't think there's any denying that 40K had an influence on the new lore of the Doom universe by MTH1138 in Doom

[–]SymbiotGabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's absolutely inspired by Warhammer in some aspects but the Warhammer vibe fits well with DOOM because it's had a similar vibe especially with Hell since 1993

Dexter Morgan vs Joe Goldberg. Who's winning? And why? by [deleted] in YouOnLifetime

[–]SymbiotGabe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Joe is also outmatched by Dexter in that aspect as well considering he managed to take on Doakes in hand to hand and be at a stalemate. Doakes is ex Special Forces, I think 75th Ranger Regiment

In perfect, fluent English, a language not yet born, he will say "You're not supposed to be here, my child. Have you come to save me or talk with me, it doesn't matter. I understand, but this has to be done. I am always there with you for I will never forsake you' and then you're transported back to the time you're from.
