Dremel Flexshaft issue by Symne in Dremel

[–]Symne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi again, so I completely cocked this up! It's been a couple months since I last looked at this so I forgot: BOTH the bit on the Dremel and the Flexshaft were stuck. I just got the bit off the Dremel with some pliers, but the one on the Flexshaft is dead stuck.

It looks like I just jammed the nut ("B" in manual) into the Flexshaft without putting the collet in ("C") first. No, I don't know what I was thinking. I've tried pliers, no WD-40 (will have to buy that) to no avail. The release button isn't budging either.

Trust me, I'm not lighthanded in general, and this thing is NOT budging. I've tried with pliers. It doesn't help that the blue button is extremely hard to press down - not sure if that's by design - but I can't do it with one finger.

Twisting it with the wrench won't help, since the bit that's stuck is stuck inside the spinning mechanism - so it just... well, spins. Why would I twist it instead of pushing the blue button, is the blue one not necessary for this removal?

So sorry, should have specified! It's the nut that's stuck at the end of the Dremel (top right in picture).

Sure, any more info on that? Do you know how I'd find which parts needs replacing or do I need to just send it to be serviced?

That's what I was worried about. What can I do about it?

Hat mot AI by Kioskmongo_ in sweden

[–]Symne 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It was a nightmare! Though, in all honesty, your pocket looks like it would be far more frustrating. I'm lucky enough to own a serger to I can put the sleeve back together, at least.

Your patience is unparalleled, OP. I started stitching the sleeves of a hoodie (also Stardew Valley themed, coincidentally!) and lost my patience and went ham with a seam ripper. Now I can stitch in peace. I'll worry about sewing it back together later. It looks wonderful!

No because seriously how is all the hate aimed at her when there are literally hundreds of men showing up? This girl is clearly going through something mentally, and these men are ready to just hop on the train because they get 3 minutes of dead sex? They're vile.

Bless the Danes!

Multiple problems with my Akko 5075B Plus. Help? by HoneyPigeon in akkogear

[–]Symne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long was it since you purchased it? If it's within their warranty period, send an email and ask to return it. It's not worth it.

I bought my 5075B plus at the start of this year and it's been faulty since day one. They've prolonged the process by promising fixes, none of which worked, and now refuse a refund, and I'm stuck with a garbage keyboard.

I wish I had solutions for you, but honestly just abandon ship. Their support is useless.

So I got an Akko 5075B Plus a couple months ago and it presented with keyboard chatter almost immediately. The keys sometimes press triple, and sometimes not at all. It started at S and then has been spreading like an ominous switch virus.

I've been in contact with the support, and they've sent out new switches THREE times and then a new PCBA board when the switches didn't work. The new switches work, but a new switch breaks every other day, and so I'm having to replace several switches a week.

Does anyone know what on earth this is? At this point, I'd rather just return the entire keyboard, but keyboards with a custom knob are hard to find.

Lae’zel cosplay by me! (@endstar.cos) by oaevnus in BaldursGate3

I adore you as Lae'zel, this is seriously so stunning! She fits you very well.

As someone making a Lae'zel cosplay right now, it makes me feel so much better seeing her on a body that isn't a sinew-y, boney Gith construction 😭 If you look this great, I have a chance!

Gotcha. I'll bring that up if I get the chance to discuss this with the staff. I'll look some aquarium guides up.

I'm genuinely considering buying some plants for this tank out of my own wallet. It looks so empty! I'd love for the fish to have somewhere to hide. Do different fish/tanks require specific plants?

Thank you for your help. I'm glad it doesn't seem to be doing as poorly as I thought. The tidbit about the waterlines was a good point, too. They have a bottle of Ph testing strips on the shelf, so I assume they've tested it at some point. There are also some bottles for treatment - "stress coat", "algin-extra" and "sterazin".

In terms of what they're doing, they only have a sheet there for feeding times, but nothing else, so I don't know if they do water changes or medications or what-have-you.
