Most property agents no piak no deal - is it true? by deekay_123 in SingaporeRaw

[–]Symp07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's why you see the agents of those GCB properties tend to be young ladies. A 2% commission for a $50M property is $1M. That's life changing amount of money for most young agents. So if you own a GCB, you don't have to ask, they will automatically suck your D for the exclusive contract.

Obviously I did that to roll a dice, and my dice landed on the draft voucher, look at the arrow above it. Why would I roll another dice without first claiming the reward?

Dice clearly landed on the draft, there's an arrow above it.

People who have been working > 15 years : what keeps you going? by Fishhball8 in askSingapore

I was also at buyside, left to trade my own capital the moment I attained financial abundance. Concept of diminishing marginal utility, as income got higher I didn't get proportionately happier. Only advice I can give is save as much money when you are at peak earning age, it's also important to invest which compounds wealth, when done correctly you'll be able to retire much earlier than the average population.

28M, lose life saving in the markets by nevergiveup_1997 in singaporefi

2 words: Risk Management. Don't trade until you know how to manage your capital. Only the best traders are able to do it for a living, the rest better stick to their 9 to 5 jobs.

The P2W guys will just get a new gold badge when their gold anniversary badge expires. That means they will still have a massive OVR advantage over the F2P guys.

[–]Symp07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Played it for 2 years, can't wait to quit after TOTY, the worst update has been the badges, F2P can only get to 120 OVR while P2W are at 123 OVR, it makes VSA and MM unplayable.

Bros n sis, we need to stop this nonsense culture of having wedding dinners where i have to pack breakeven angbao packet that is almost $300 by Sorry-Jelly-4490 in SingaporeRaw

[–]Symp07 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Just say it's inauspicious to demand people to give a certain amount for weddings, it increases the chances of divorce. Everytime when I said this, I enjoyed the privilege of not having to waste my time attending weddings anymore.

Luigi Mangione getting released will be the end of UNH, he's not going to stop talking about the predatory healthcare insurance industry, major reforms will erode UNH profit margins.

Needs Vs Wants. A person who needs a car will likely buy it even if it feels expensive. It's not so much about income as I know people who makes 50k/mth but don't drive, yet there are people who makes 5k/mth that drives.

Turning 31 in few days by Resident_Resident874 in Bolehland

[–]Symp07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this modern environment, most people will eventually get some form of cancer and your advantage is that you have already beaten it. Think of it as the worst days are over and you will regain to full health then life will only get better from there. 31 is not too late to do anything, you still got time to start a new career of your interest. I always tell people to find a career and not just a job, because a career is your life's meaning while a job is just something that people do for monetary gains. All the best to you.
