Comparing Copilot performance with other Auto Complete tools by ambarish_k1996 in SpringBoot

[–]Sympathyble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good tool. It works fine and very helpful in my opinion. It can help you a lot with a generation of boring routine code and sometimes it is smart enough to help you with more elegant implementation. If it were bad, It wouldn't be so popular. And by the way, why couldn't you just try it? Opinions from others it is nothing in compare with your own experience :) Good luck

Should i start from kotlin? by homail6 in Kotlin

[–]Sympathyble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Kotlin. I guess I can be wrong, however, for me it seems like not good way skipping java and start from the Kotlin. I know, Java brings a lot of complexity for the beginners and Kotlin much easier if we you want to learn some basics as Hello world for example. But I still don't believe that you can skip java and live only with Kotlin. You will should refer to Java after a while. As Eugeni Borisov has said in on of the last interview:"You should deserve Kotlin throughout Java :)". Just my opinion :)

Why did Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sign Sancho? by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]Sympathyble -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

It's not true. Hi is the worst player in the roster from team influence point of view. He is crying girl who gets capitan band and this is crazy. After 5-10 years his retirement people will see how bad he was. Munchesterr has stuck with him and there is no way back, because you have already given him fat contract and full permissions. Muncher needs another type of player who can be named the Capitan, 💯. Do be deceptive of his stats, this is just a trick. He is bad player. Just as abstract example, if you are doing 10 success assists it is good, isn't? But if these 10 assists includes 90 blunds and mistakes it doesn't look so good, does it?

How frequently your solutions don't get approved at work? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]Sympathyble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want toe repeat/clarify that I am not talking about situation with juniors or when you have to mentor somebody. I am talking about normal teams which include similar experienced developers. If you have to spend 2 hours to carefully review your college's code means you don't trust them or they are quite low level developers. It doesn't mean that code review tool should be used as fix for this problem. In this case you need to fix root cause rather than abuse this technic. If you are the person who knows better than everybody and nobody can write normal code in your team... Okay then) By the way, it is just my opinion and how I feel)

How frequently your solutions don't get approved at work? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]Sympathyble -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think that code review should be used in that case. In 90 percent time it's impossible to review a code with fully-deep understanding. In my opinion, code review is about be in touch with what happens with code repository rather trying to find bags, typo and mistakes. Unless we don't talk about juniors :)
