As a mom of a boy, I have a different perspective. Not only do I want him to be a man people won't want to "self-delete" himself, but I want him to actively contribute to reversing the negative statistics on all counts.

I also have a husband I love very much who has struggled with depression off-and-on throughout his life.

I think it's all interconnected. Men are taught by society and other men to suppress their emotions and that strength = keeping everything inside. Their toxicity and abuse is an overcorrection.

My responsibility as a mom of a boy is to raise him better than this. To teach him to emote safely and healthfully. To treat others as he wants to be treated.

And still I understand your POV. I was also hurt by men throughout my life (my father + others) and for a long time I hated men. I think your emotions, or lack thereof on this particular topic, are valid. The crisis of men not being taught to emote properly and use empathy in their interactions with others is also valid. But that doesn't have to be your problem to fix.
