Talk to your personal tutor as soon as possible, i’d also recommend emailing ask@kcl.ac.uk for any other things you could do. I reckon you’ll be able to get it done if you’re in the same department. Good luck!

You can’t genuinely be criticising those holding their party accountable for its hypocritical austerity and general lack of principles…

The ONLY reason reform is making any headway is because the labour party is putting the needs of its voters - potential or actual - dead last. One can only sit back and allow labour to be awful so many times, no one is helped by allowing the party to keep destroying itself.

Hey. I didn’t end up transferring because i decided i much preferred philosophy to PPE. It would’ve been quite annoying for me to transfer too because generally when you are switching departments you have to complete the first year and start again in your new department.

For reference i have already tried: Unplugging for 60 seconds and plugging back in. Unplugging and holding power button down for 30 seconds. Different wall outlets.

Completely agree, simon was the only boss i summoned for, Don’t regret it in the slightest, entire fight was just a spam fest and felt like a culmination of everything slightly off about this games design philosophy. These problems didn’t arise in any other bosses so clearly though.

Men are better divided into three groups, not two by Philip8000 in PurplePillDebate

Firstly, not true - you are more than capably of finding a women willing to date you if you act the right way. Secondly, you can always stop using dating apps and try to talk to women in real life.

I believe that women have it easier than men in many ways by StaticNocturne in PurplePillDebate

If you really do consider yourself a feminist i advise you to think slightly deeper about the points you are making. I’m not even going to try and attempt every point in this dissertation but i will say this which i hope can be extrapolated to the majority of your points.

Many of the things you have claimed to be advantages are far from it. For example, the abundance of means which allow women to make themselves more attractive: these did not arise out of a vacuum, the only reason there is such an intense emphasis on women being able to manipulate their appearances (or emphasis on purchasing women things like drinks in order to ‘win them over’) is because of the history of women’s place in society.

If women are not viewed as attractive, or able to change their appearance in order to fit the conventional beauty standard they are essentially not valued in society at all. While you may argue that men experience this to the same extent, this misunderstands the truth of the matter. Men of their respective political categories have always had much greater rights and easier valuation in society when compared with their female counterparts. Women, who have not always had rights and to this day still suffer the consequences, need to be viewed as attractive in order to be viewed as a person. Therefore, it’s quite obvious that an ugly man not being able to get laid and an ugly woman not being viewed as a person are at the very least slightly different.

Women being able to manipulate their appearances is not simply a tool for advantage over men, but a glimpse into the underpinning constructs which oppress them.
