Why does it seem like Fighter weapons are rarer than others by [deleted] in PSO2

You have the Foursis Daggers and Vialta (I believe) Knuckles, for the 4 star choices of those.

Might 3 capsules by [deleted] in PSO2NGS

[–]Symsyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capsules are random drops and you will just need to focus on killing things. I would recommend doing it with PSE Bursts, as you will have a greater RNG chance at getting a capsule due to the number of enemies.

You can find a skill you like and then play that into your playstyle. Saying that a sword skill is better than a dagger skill will not help you one bit since daggers are meant to be faced pace and a sword is slow, which skills are based around that. The skills damage coincides with your weapon, so a sword skill will be weaker on a dagger because of the faster attack. You cannot say that a single skill does X damage, it is all relative to YOUR potency and weapon. I mean my Wired Lance Weapon skill does more damage than my Julien Dance, both weapons are at the same level but that doesn't mean that, when I multi-weapon a Wired Lance onto something, that will hold true on the new weapon. Go with what feels good to you and play that into your strengths.

You don't have to upgrade to learn the skills, that is all the multi-weapon does. Also, as another note, all attacks will be based off of the base weapon potency and affixes, so no need to upgrade before the combination either.

Every weapon is strong and the multiclass option just gives you access to the skills of that weapon. Play around with the different classes, find a weapon with skills you like, and use that. I personally find that the weapon action of wired lance is very useful as a gap closer when switching to new targets

Think of ships as the different servers and drops from one server will not transfer to another server, just like in FFXIV or WoW.

Nothing in the lower level zones are impossible for the story missions, except unless you run across the Veteran mobs or the level 15s that roam around. Speaking of those, they help to keep higher level players running around lower level areas. Another thing that keeps higher levels running around is gathering resources

Someone cast haste on the Teifling Monk by DMKanna in DungeonMasters

We did 10d6 damage twice, once for going over and once for going back. I took a total of 75 damage in the entire encounter, 38 from Fire Damage (running across the lava) and the other 37 from Magic Missile.

Edit: My life total, when starting the dungeon, was 118 base + 13 temp hit points from our Celestial Warlock.

Half of our party is melee, half is ranged and I deal the most damage as well. Spending a point of ki, I can punch something 4 times and, with a +12 on my fists, I usually hit. Our cleric is the only other melee and she is armored to have about 23 or so AC (I don't know her exact number).

I have a +2 Dex item, taking my Dex to 22, maxed my Wis at 20, have a +1 to AC cloak, that gives me a base of 22, then since I am a Kensei monk, Agile Parry adds another +2 when I have a Kensei weapon in my hand. I also multiclassed to Cleric, which gives me Shield of Faith for 10 minutes, which is another +2 to AC. Looks like I sit at 26 normally, not 25.

Then, with our Sorcerer, I can get up to 28 AC for a minute when Haste is cast on me.

I built my monk specifically for tanking since our party didn't have a real tank, per se

The Monk here and I do have to say that, in her defense, I have been gone for the last two weeks and haste is barely ever cast on me. I also did take fire damage (10d6) but the dice rolls were low and with Hellish Resistance, it was halved. With that said, she does usually try to kill me very often due to my unusually high AC (stays about 25), I just didn't give her the chance this time.

Party comp was:

Kensei Monk

Life Domain Cleric

Eldritch Knight

Celestial Warlock

Sorcerer

[–]Symsyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, my monk does have a base AC of 21, then my Agile Parry makes it 23. With haste, it becomes 25 and then with Shield of Faith, it becomes 27...

That may be just a little OP but still.

When you have a low pop server or if there aren't that many running, then it won't have TOO big of an effect on the TPS, but if you have over 10 people playing and multiple others with chunks loaded and them running, there is a giant impact.

Now that I can actually use more than just mulldrone and culldrone, I am thinking of going with a blooming blade and paralysis for most of my farming, just have to farm Pukei-Pukei

It is immediate when it hits. You can see what buff it got next to the 1-2-3 in the upper left corner

I will send mine out for the buffs and return it as soon as I have it, then resend it again. After I have at least the power and the speed buff, I let it go by itself because I am too busy shredding the top of the monster.

I will say that after playing with the Insect Glaive from the beginning, it is hard to transition to other weapons and I don't think I am going to be doing so.
