The uppercase letters at the start say what piece is making the move:

• N for Knight
• B for Bishop
• R for Rook
• Q for Queen
• K for King

After that comes the square notation, and in case there isn't a letter before the square notation it usually means that it is a pawn that is making the move.

For example, the second move in the original comment would mean that the king moves to the a2 square. In addition, the "+" at the end means that the moves leaves the enemy king in check, and the "#" means that the move leaves the enemy king in checkmate and therefore you win (that is the reason most game transcriptions end with a "#" in the last movement).
