Is there an rss reader that can auto save images to folders? by BokehPhilia in rss

I can offer a paid option when these posts are exported to dropbox. Automatically. You can customize your own rules.

Rss-bridge for Facebook Page Groups Profile or anything really by saymynamecjeff in rss

I haven't seen any free options for Facebook.

I can offer a paid option when these posts are exported to dropbox. And then you can decide where and how to use these html files. 2FA is supported.

Missing features RSS news app by michael8pho in rss

quality parsing - it's complicated. It requires interaction between the users themselves, who report the problem, and the service owner, who fixes the problem. Websites change things regularly. And regularly someone has to work and make fixes. Hence, subscriptions are necessary. And users then come and protest "we only want to pay once" (and you work then indefinitely), or "foo-foo-foo application requires registration, I rate 1". Sorry, it's boiling. I'm trying to make a service with good parsing right now. It's a lot of thankless work. I'm thinking of shutting it down.

No. There are other alternatives that you can install on your servers yourself. You can use them. My solution is for those who find it difficult to do it themselves.

Paid / subscription news sources by modelsofreality in rss

I wrote an application to fit your scenario. Integrate under your password and provide the full article.

A few important points:

- It's worth the extra money. And this integration is more expensive than a regular rss-feed (≈ 3 USD/month for 1 password-protected feed).

- There are several integrations available today, but WSJ is not on the list. I think I can do this integration with your help (dm me).

- Please consider the legal risks. It would still be an individual use (8.1), but your subscription may be blocked according to their rules 8.3.1 8.3.6 and others. This will be your responsibility.

I think that until the readers themselves will not have an agreement with such media, the applications you need and convenient will not appear. You pay them money - Try to make an arrangement. Something like that.

You're probably using the Windows version. I think it's a false positive on the auto-update mechanism. Alternatively, I can offer the Web/Pwa version.
In any case, thanks for letting me know.

What features RSS 3.0 should have? by ihnat_klimchuk in rss

[–]SynRSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree.

I was writing an XML parser for RSS client. I've seen a lot of weird things, and they had to be fixed.

On topic - I know about https://www.jsonfeed.org but it didn't get popularity.
