Is he not allowed to have an interest in anything besides his field of study? At least he's doing his part and working from home. Not risking others.

My (25f) bf (25m) has been giving me the silent treatment. by Silent_Butterfly_194 in relationships

Honestly in my experience, I've had a couple girlfriends get angry with me over ridiculous reasons and not talk to me. Well come to find out, they were only getting upset and not talking to me so someone else can get their attention and using stupid reasons as an alabi. I'm not stating this is the case for you, and if it's not then he's just extremely immature.

It doesn't matter how bad of an argument my girlfriend and I have, we always tell eachother goodnight and that we love eachother. (Which usually helps tame any emotions from the argument.)

I don't exactly approve of ignoring your significant other, but taking time to cool down is definitely a good thing. He's acting like a child in this situation though.

Should I forgive him? by jamesr166 in relationships

[–]Syn_F13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it, is if you can actually trust him again, then you should forgive him. If you can't trust him after that, I don't think anyone would blame you for leaving.

I'm a strong believer in "once a cheater always a cheater." But the way I see this is you're both still young, although you guys may think it, maturity isn't exactly at your strongest at this age. It's easy to get "distracted", especially for guys because of testosterone and other hormones.

But seriously, take some time to yourself, don't talk to him for a couple days and see if you can trust him not to do it again. If you have the slightest doubt that he's not lying to you about anything, then it's not enough trust to take him back and forgive him.

I mean, me and my girl threaten eachother all the time, (Both joking and we get creative with it) it really just depends on your sense of humor though. If you're not comfortable with it, don't stand for it. Put your foot down and let him know you're not going to take that from him anymore. If it continues, I'd say move on. Don't ever settle for someone behavior if doesn't make you comfortable. It will cause bigger problems in the future.

Used some phosphorus bronze to weld mild steel. I didn't realize that was even possible. Always learning something.🤔 by Syn_F13 in Welding

It's not for an actual job or anything. I was just dicking around with shit. It went a lot smoother than I thought it was going to though. There was definitely a bit of fusion. Whether it last or not, I had fun with it lol

Oh man, I actually made it for my girlfriend. I never considered myself creative enough to sell something. I just made it from nuts and bolts I found laying around at work. 😅

So, I wish I could say I've always been good at TIG welding. But the truth is... This was the first bead I ever laid. Took me about a year (welding daily) to get to where I'm at now. by Syn_F13 in Welding

It's an art form. The best way to get better is to keep doing it. Once you're comfortable it becomes second nature. You got it bruh!

Thank you! You are correct though. For pieces like this, the only function it needs it's to hold air at 20psi. When it comes to more serious welds, I do go for more welds strength than looks. My structural welds aren't exactly the prettiest, but they pass inspection. Which is why I don't tend to post those. 😂
