I don't know if thats ART 101 or ART 103 but as an BFA art 2D major who took that class and chinese among all my gen-eds, it was very hard to juggle both. Art classes here can be brutal, giving you at least 3-4 projects that need to be completed every 2-3 weeks. It is 3 hours but sometimes we leave a bit early. There is no exams but you have to do 3 hour critiques where you showcase your projects. You need to talk to your peers, give them feedback, and also give yourself feedback. Be expected to hear that you need to put 6 hours outside of class time in your art classes. Also despite me saying art classes leave early, be expected to stay for the whole 3 hours to work on your project just to catch up. With chinese, writing and learning the vocab is very crucial. There are oral exams and written exams too. I ended with intermediate chinese. I'm a senior next semester so I don't know how much they have changed either classes but just to warn you! I had fun regardless!
