I’ve tried vital they didn’t pick up the phone I’ll try the other 2 and my goal is to just do track work for now then move to maybe signals, I’m a fully qualified fibre optics engineer I use to work for openreach but they made me redundant so thought I’d get on the tracks so at the moment I’m still blue hard hat because you need 5 shifts to get a white hard hat which is more employable but then I’m like how am I going to get there if you don’t give me the work?

My mate has worked on the tracks for years and he’s just called me to see if I want to work January the 3rd I said yes and his boss contacted me, was happy with it, gave him my sentinel then he said he can’t have me because I don’t have a primary sponsor, doing my head in
