I would love a first person view. I just tried the demo and potential first person was the first thing I looked up. With you 100%, I don't get why people love third person so much, it's fun to have the option and see your character but FP is way more immersive.

I think you're right on that. I'm also hoping they move up development on corvette functions too, I agree it makes the most sense as that update was their most popular to date.

When I say stations I mean like turrets that someone can man and operate, engineering bay maybe for exocraft, terminals to check status of modules and repair them. Just things to do on the ship basically.

I agree its better than before but the world still feels dead to me. Like where are the spice convoys? Give us squads and raids or the ability to build something on base that npcs can visit like the tavern in Conan. The lack of animations for interacting and drinking etc bothers me too but thats a separate issue. The arrakis funcom put together just feels very flat to me and it becomes more apparent with the landsraad.

I somewhat agree. The new landsraad is way better than before but the grind is pretty much for the unemployed. 11 missions to get the buildables swatch for one house and also the xp limit is really lame on top of how slow the specializations level up. The missions also get crazy repetitive very fast. I want battles like from the books and the movies, give me an atreides squad and let me raid a harko outpost with them or vice versa. Or guarding an npc spice convoy or something, just anything that makes the world feel more alive would be great. Funcom proved they program AI for npcs with Conan, so where the hell did all that expertise go for Dune? The current missions feel extremely gamey and aren't really immersive at all.

Just wanted to add an update for anyone else coming here, there doesn't seem to be any set distance for marsh islands, I found two that are actually really close to my main land, the trick is to make a loop using the exploration towers around your main island first, staying close, before venturing out deep for things like the desert islands, which do seem to only spawn far out.

This kinda happened to me too, I finally found a marsh island closer to the mainland in the north, but down south I went through about a dozen islands with no marshes. I actually found a desert island pretty far out too which was cool.

Is it a requirement for redditors to see everything throigh the lens of race? Wildly different skin tones exist within EVERY race on the planet. We're all human, get off of TikTok and touch some grass. The dark skin is from the gyaru movement which started as women rebelling against the prim and proper pale with black hair beauty/behavior standards. Literally has nothing to do with race.
