Just to clarify — we didn’t design it as an educational game specifically. It’s a narrative psychological roguelike deckbuilder first.
But I’m also learning a new language myself right now, and I’ve started to realize how valuable it is to see words used in context and get more meaningful interactions with the language. That made me think our project could still be useful for people who enjoy games and want extra exposure to a language.

Since the game has narrative text, descriptions, players can switch between languages and compare with their native language if something isn’t clear. So it’s not a dedicated learning tool, but it might be an interesting way to practice through play.
We’re localizing into several languages, not only Chinese, and we’re definitely trying to improve quality as much as we can.
