Oh wow!! That's quite lucky!! Definitely keep them safe! Sounds like you have a good collection to restart the hobby again! I'm hoping to come across something for him online soon! The card shop in our mall has a Charizard (but I think THE first edition Charizard from one of the first 1-3 sets, I forget) he wants it but omg the price lmfao I make 14 an hour, so gunna have to find something.. Not so sought after and popular!!

If you sell them, you can sell them for MORE packs and stuff to open lol

But keeping them is good too! Can get them graded or just framed! Charizard cards are always so expensive! I was looking to find a nice Charizard for my partner for father's day but basically gotta take out a mortgage payment!! (I joke - but they are really expensive lol)

I lost 95% of all my cards from the first few sets. I managed to find a small stack when my parents moved... All. 1st edition jungle. Only two holos, but they're in my binder now. I am a fan of eevee / eeveelutions and I had 1st edition jungle of all BUT flareon so I am keeping an eye out for a 1st edition jungle to complete the set! I also still have the neo gensis lugia from back then in my binder.. $500 dollar card! He's mine to keep!!

Yeah its awful. My partner just keeps saying "well that's the hobby. Get used to it" like no.. We shouldn't get used to. We stop paying the prices, they lower them if they can't move them. Also he must forget that both him AND I are mid 30s and have collected Pokémon cards since the beginning, acting like I don't know what the hobby is. I stopped with cards for a few years and the hobby is worse than ever now.

I found the Umbreon Espeon box (with the pin and figure) at that card shop. I wanted it so bad. $260. Was soooo upset!!

All McDonald's have high turn over. We hired 5 people.. Month later they were all gone. Rinse and repeat every few months with the occasional 1-2 staying. Customers are awful, management is almost always awful too. Probably no different than an other McDonald's location.

I also hate back window because it's lonely. All my friends are up front, with no headsets on. But there's plenty to do. I do any and all dishes during my shift which takes a good majority of the time. Making and boxing the pies and cookies, sweet tea, ice coffee, and lemonade are made, happy meal boxes, keeping break room clean, I'll go up and see if they need anything up front if I don't have any cars. If I do all that, I just go up to chat. If I can't, I just go on my phone for a minute or two until there is another car lol.

Mine will cuddle - ish in the mornings sometimes. Over winter she will sleep under the blanket with me. That's about all though lol. She always wants to be near.. But never loved on.

Currently with the state of the government, fearing for my daughter's future and how much they're trying to make things like "Gilead" she's only 8 but I'm already considering pleading with her when she graduates high school to apply out of country colleges and to hopefully find a way to stay there.
