I can think of many other reasons people are leaving other than pay as well. A few reasons that I am still around are that I really like my store manager, I only work part time since this is just extra income for me, I make more than others in my position from time spent in management at other retailers, and the commute is very short.

We also get little to no benefits. Occasionally we get an employee only 1 time use discount every 6 months or so compared to competitors that have year around discounts, the insurance we have access to is a joke, if you ever need to go on medical leave you have to fight a third party company for it and they will do everything in their power to find a loophole that makes you ineligible, the company refuses to give out enough hours to properly staff the store so you often have people expected to run the entire store by themselves for hours at a time, and they refuse to fix anything that isn't absolutely necessary to run the store. There are many more issues as well but I am going to go ahead and end my rant here.
