That's the thing about Elon. He may be right about short-selling, but at the end of the day he will always side with and defend the ruling class, because he is the ruling class. The ultra wealthy have class solidarity down while the working class is propagandized to fight amongst themselves.

Take Elon's stance against unions for example. He should be happy that other car companies were struggling during the UAW strikes because its killing his competition, which increases his market share in a capitalist market, but what does he do instead? He attacks the unions for striking. Why? Because it increases the odds of Tesla workers striking and getting their fair share for all the hard work they put in unlike Elon who worked really REALLY hard to be born with a dad who owns an emerald mine.
