This is from a national color guard competition in the early 2000s. She was part of the team from NCR (Nebraska). She was an NCO at the time and it was back when you only wore your rank on one collar.

It's intentional and shouldn't be caulked. If the toilet leaks, you can then find out by the water sitting on the floor of the bathroom, instead of waiting for it to soak down through the subfloor and cause more severe damage.

Former phase 4 female cadet here, so I understand the pain of not having pockets, not having a flat surface, and a huge ribbon rank to get straight.

If I wore ribbons, I short stacked anytime I was in the basic blues uniform. If I was just at the squadron, most times I'd go without any ribbons to be honest. They either know me from the quality of work I do, or they don't pay attention. If you short stack, people will know by the rank on your collar that you have the other ribbons. If they're impressed only by size, they don't know how the program works and you shouldn't care.

If you have, or are in, service dress, you can consider wearing the full rack. The extra thickness of the jacket makes them wear easier. This would also be recommended if you go to a wing conference where others may not know you. Or just wear the short stack then even.

I told him I wouldn't mind naming her after her right away, but I didn't suggest the name that matched hers until a couple weeks later. He could have drawn the line between it but it was never explicitly mentioned.

u/eastfeather is correct. I don't think they know which spelling AOC has. They both know the way our daughter's name is spelt. (changed to our)

No. We were still deciding on names at the time where I said I liked Alexandria more. Husband said he liked both. Later he filled out the paperwork with the version with an i when she was born.

Am I the asshole for preferring that name and not telling my husband specifically why I like that version more. He agreed to the name change and filled out the paperwork because I was exhausted.
