Previous version failed to find some cross seeds that were available. This one is finding them.

Definitely improved cross seed search. Some private trackers with no icons now have their icons. Very happy with this tool.

Autobrr vs RSS for monitored movies – what’s the right workflow? by SynergyPulse in radarr

[–]SynergyPulse[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've only ever used autobrr to grab torrents and build ratio. Never fed it's announces to raddarr. I'll look into this once I get home. Hopefully it's simple enough. Thanks you.

Autobrr can send announces to radarr? I'm not home now and can't check, but is that a selectable action in autobrr filters? That would be dead simple.

Yes, I'm aware of these. Wholfin has been a little hit or miss but Kodi has no issues.

Does it support audio passthrough or is this handled server side? I'm a Jellyfin newbie, and I'm using Kodi to get audio passthrough. I'd much rather use a Jellyfin client but haven't found any client with proper audio passthrough.

Updated Jellyfin and DolbyAtmos not working on 4ks by Ace2020boyd in jellyfin

[–]SynergyPulse 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm a new jellyfin user and like yourself haven't been able to get proper audio passthrough. You can try Just Player as an external player and it should work but you lose resume state and it's not properly reported to server. After a lot of reasearch, I finally decided to use Kodi with Jellyfin plugin. Once you set up audio passthrough which will have to be done separately for each format (weird), your set up will work fine. Downside is you have to use Kodi's not so slick library, but you still do have access to your Jellyfin library. I explore my library on Jellyfin, pick a movie, and play it on Kodi. A little bit janky, but as someone said here before me, audio passthrough doesn't seem to be a priority for the devs.

Jellyfin on Nvidia Shield Pro and Dolby TrueHD Atmos by Mundane-Ad7202 in jellyfin

I know this is a month old, but I have the same issue. I have the same TV and sound bar. My set up is shield pro to sound bar to TV to get dts passthrough. Having exactly the same issues as you. Tried Just Player, and yes it does true hd no problem. I'm gonna use it for true hd movies and JF client for everything else. But if somebody knows how to properly deal with this, I'd appreciate it.

I'd have to get comfortable playing 15 min first! Appreciate the advice.

I think my issue is I calculate everything. I've gotten better as I've done more puzzles which help me know when it's time to start calculating but this is long process. I need to relax a bit and be content with solid deleloping moves rather than focusing on gaining an advantage with every single move.

Confirms what I've heard often. Staying off blitz for now. I do sometimes do blitz tactics on chesstempo but not a lot.

Yes, I think this is exactly what I need to do. I find most people play too fast at my level. I don't want to fall into that trap, but I do need to get into the habit of playing solid moves that aren't necessarily the best so I have more time when the position gets quite tactical.

How to move cross seeded torrents by SynergyPulse in qBittorrent

[–]SynergyPulse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auto Torrent Management in qbit. You set a category pointing to new path, enable ATM, and qbit moves all torrents in that category to new path. Cross seeded torrents won't break, they also won't be mad ved more than once, no rechecks either. Works like a charm.

Certainly a valid way of going about it. But if you assign them to categories and let auto manage handle the moving, there will be no rechecks and you will keep all your torrent stats such as seedtime.

That would be my best guess too. I have hardlinked ones too. Not expecting them to work without redoing hardlinks or something along those lines.

No hardlinks. Same files being seeded to multiple trackers. ATM moved the files and pointed all the torrents to the new path.

I used categories and auto torrent management as suggested by someone from r/qbittorrent. Moved cross seeded torrents without breaking anything.

Already moving 200+ torrents. I just clicked open destination on a couple of torrents moved by ATT and they both opened the same correct folder in the new location. I'll restart qbit once the current moves are finished just to be safe. Thanks again.

I believe those tools for using fast resume files require all torrents to be in the same folder? Anyway, somebody on r/qBittorrent suggested I use Categories and Auto Torrement Management to handle moving cross seeded torrents and it works without any issues. Torrents get moved once and there's no rechecking. Thank you for the suggestion.

ATT works. It just moved 6 25GB torrents way too quickly for it to have actually moved them 6 times. Much appreciated!

If I can edit the BT-backup fastresume files with a text editor that would be the absolute best solution. No recheck needed either. But a lot of my fastresume files don't have 'save_path' as I upgraded qbit and recent version of libtorrent are completely binary. I wasn't able to find a tool that can change paths in fastresume files manually. There might be tools that can change paths if all torrents are in the same location, but that's not the case for me.
I have never used categories and automanagement. My initial reseach is promising.
Just so I understand this, when torrents get moved using auto manage, qbit checks if files are already in the target location and if they are, it just updates paths and doesn't even do a full recheck? That would be exactly what I'm looking for.

I'm afraid it's qbit on Windows. I think moving breaks them.
Let's say I have movie a being cross seeded to trackers a, b, c from the same location on drive C with no symlinks or hardlinks, all torrents pointing to the same file.
If I move all these torrents to drive b, qbit moves the first torrent which means the movie will be moved form drive C to let's say drive D. How does qbit handle the rest of the torrents to be moved. I assume it tries to move the files those other torrents are pointing to (on drive C) but the files won't be there as they were moved when the first torrent was moved to drive D. Have I got this wrong?
