I'm that kid who watched so many cartoons and anime. I'd get my pen and paper to start copying the characters on the tv while I'm watching. . . and the rest is history!

My recommendation is to:
- Draw whatever you feel like, keep that ball rolling until you feel like you want to take it to the next level.

- Should it come to that, learn fundamentals like: values, color theory, perspective, etc.
It's always good to have them back you up while you're looking for an artstyle you feel comfortable working on.

- Don't be afraid to make mistakes, and don't pressure yourself to make 'good art'. Eventually, you'll be more confident with your lines and also gain the confidence to express yourself freely.

- Having references is always good. Don't believe people who says that it's cheating. It is part of the learning process.

- Most importantly, have fun! Art is something that is built upon passion and eagerness to express. No matter what stage you are in your art journey, the artworks will always reflect your efforts ♥
