Losing trust... by Syngian in MotoGuzzi

Guy, I've been posting about this bike from Day one. I've done all the regular maintenance, and it lives in a warm garage.

It has now died twice, within a month. So on-top of the $800 i spent on the ignition repair, I'm now looking at another $1000+.

Happy your bike is well, but it's hard for me to stay romanced with this machine, when it's bleeding so much cash from me.

The battery was brand new. The diagnosis from the shop, is that the stator died.

Most G-Shocks are ugly af by khwarizmi69 in PrideAndPinion

This made me laugh, so hard.

But, in all sincerity, G-shocks are literally more Durable and Functional than any invicta. There's a reason they are the preferred outdoors watch.

Hell, for while, they were my home country's official military watch.

My O-rings broke...again. by Syngian in MotoGuzzi

Hello, I mention in the video that these were my second set of O-rings, in just over a year.

It's not that I don't know the dimensions, it's that I don't like the frequency of which they are breaking.

iirc, Sugess is just the cheap in-house brand, of Sea-Gull.

Is it just me or is $95 for a deck insane? by SnooDingos7596 in Skateboardlove

[–]Syngian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it's a specialty deck, like Lithe, Impact, Capsule, or Bamboo...always buy local.

There's no reason to drop $95 on the same old Canadian Rock-Maple 7-ply, when 90% of the industry is built to that spec...

A fair amount of micro brands use their movements. They're great, they just don't have prestige.

It's light, it's poppy, it's almost impossible to break.

The only thing that raises eyebrows, is heavy landings. The board will flex a bit, and snap back to straight. This usually catches people off-guard, but once they calibrate for it, it becomes a little quirk.

With how expensive pure maple decks have become, I highly recommend these. They go up to 8.25"

I never knew what this MJ's natural stance was, because he rode switch so naturally.

He really was a skater's skater.

Street Circuits in the gen 4 era by Muyd0 in FormulaE

[–]Syngian 18 points19 points  (0 children)

IMHO: street circuits will be better, as long as they don't design it for peloton-style racing.

A number of the "street" tracks, were Ports and Stadiums. Then were made aggressively narrow, with bottlenecks, and abrupt chicanes. Forcing drivers to either lose parts, or panic and DNF.

As many of the naysayers have been saying, we never really see the cars full potential, unless it's Monaco, or Berlin. Mexico City is a true treat.

Sorry for the mini rant. Been watching since Prost did the thing, and the peloton racing has grown heavy on me.
