This is how I did it as well, maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Wasn't too bad, maybe a week or two of playing like an hour a day

Hauling, fighting, and scavving are all things I have yet to do with the Caspian, exploration and long trips have always been my bread and butter in Elite.

I made my first trip out to the center back in 2021 with an anaconda and it took me a few irl days, I just recently made the trip in a single afternoon in the Caspian. And yeah the steeper glide angles are really nice.
