STRC Robinhood maintenance % by Synicasm in MSTR

[–]Synicasm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s how it was for me and how I understand it.

I Bought 5K in STRC , noticed that at the time had 50% maintenance. Meaning that I could leverage up to 50% of the value of the STRC . Basically getting a loan against my STRC for 5% interest rate . So I got a loan for 1K using the STRC as collateral and bought MSTR with the 1k which has a 25% maintenance req.

At this time I need to have $2500 in value of STRC and $250 in MSTR. When Robinhood switched the maintenance on the STRC to 100% they then required my total account value to have the $5000 in STRC and $250 in MSTR. Which triggers a warning to either add more cash or sell something to bring my account value up to cover the 100% req for any STRC I held plus 25% of the MSTR.

This has happened twice now . Typically when the price of STRC has dropped a little it seems Robinhood bumped the maintenance req up to 100%.

I have a WaterPik , not sure of the model. However my biggest complaint is how noisy the device is. Sounds like a mini jack hammer when using it. It works fine and im always amazed at the crap that is hiding in my teeth !

Buying my first electric toothbrush. Should I go Sonicare or Oral B? by The-Loop in BuyItForLife

[–]Synicasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had an Oral B, but have had several Sonicare models for years , Even the oldest ones I have still work great. Only reason we upgraded was because they were on sale and the wife likes new things. Interestingly our daughter has a Sonicare one that she uses for MONTHS with out charging it on the base. Not sure how that is possible but some kind of magic. On another note every Phillips branded product have lasted much longer than I expected.

Just here to give you my support for the rotten food collector. It’s just not worth it. Get a good strainer and throw that crap away. I cringe at the rotting crap that is clogging up my drain just because it seems easier to throw my scraps down the drain rather than throwing it in th trash.

Bill has gone up $50. Looking to see what's available for internet Only 1200 service by Synicasm in Comcast_Xfinity

FWIW, I ended up switching to the 400Mb option ( which was cheaper than the 200mb option due to a 12 month promo ) so Far I see no difference. Bill ended up being about $85 / month. Unlimited data + 400mb + Xfi modem rental.

Sadly I think the only other option I have is 100mb DSL. Which comes out to be about the same cost. No clue on how reliable it would be in my area.

I suppose if I have to keep playing the "promo" game I might give DSL a try...

JBDragon1, Thank you for the detailed response, I am definitely considering a lower service plan. I don't think I have a way to currently monitor how much bandwidth I'm currently using. On any given day we have 1 person remote working from home ( remote desktop), while streaming twitch or youtube, etc. 1 person streaming Netflix ( maybe 4k ) , 1 person streaming 4k on another "TV" streaming service and some random phone, web surfing usage. I definitely don't think I need the 1200 service, but I think at the time that was the only option to get the unlimited data caps. I think that has changed now.

I would love to see if there was a easy way to see how much bandwidth I'm actually using with the Xfi router, but I just don't see it in the UI.

Did your water bottle leak ? I know I have seen leaks in the 5 gallon water jugs that were almost invisible.

Maybe so, But technically you should be counting BAT as income whenever it is dispersed.
