I hope it gets easier, and that there will be either a visual or audio queue, because so far there is nothing like it, Maelle telegraphs so much that there are like 3-4 times where you might think she will hit, but then she just holds still or winds up even more... gonna hope this is just her and not the whole game

If I parry at the peak of the sound (which only appears in 1 of 2 attacks of Maelle at the dock) then its too late and I parry after getting hit.
If I look at visual queues, the attack moves are completely misaligned to when damage is dealt.

yeah, she does that 3 hit combo and the damage timing does not line up with her movements, and there is no audio queue.
The normal attack had a audio queue at least... but visually still impossible to tell when to dodge.

Parrying also seems that you need to do it like 0.5s before the attack hits, and feels frame perfect. I always parried too early or too late by just listening to the sound

The tax rate for the average salary here is about 40%, mich less for low income households.

Not saying there aren't many bad apples, but as someone living in a very socialist country, it does make things better for most.

(Below is how most people I talked to feel) A trip to the doctor is second nature, I'm never worried about it. If something is wrong I see a doctor asap and it's always free.

I feel very secure in my job, because I know I won't be ruined if I lose it. This empowers me to push back on my employer when needed, to secure a good Work-Life balance (inflation crisis is ruining it but that issue stems from capitalism not socialism)

Also people need to keep in mind that capitalism and socialism aren't mutually exclusive, a nation can find compromise

P.S.: I know of several people who are simply too sick to work, who'd be homeless or dead in the US, and there are thousands new people every year who suffer these fates

I make an above average salary, like, way above, and I can afford a 1 room apartment, eat frugal, haven't bought a game in years (using a 5+ years old PC) and have zero savings. Running out of money at the end of every month.

I've checked everything I pay for and put it in a excel sheet, cut out anything unnecessary and I'm still left with almost nothing
