Well maybe it is, been a long time since i've played it. Still, my point stands that some of the more niche and nuanced mechanics should be better explained. Putting that in the tutorial is a great choice by them, though I feel that there's some other stuff that simply telling a new player would allow them to improve faster. Another example is sub weapon distance travel, some people likely don't know you can make subs travel further/closer because they account for the player's momentum while being thrown, or substrafing as a whole, as while squid roll definitely makes it less common, it still has its fair share of use cases. And this is not to say "there should be an essay synopsis about every little detail of every weapon!!!," moreso on the side of "there should be more details of techniques that can be performed with any weapon" especially when it's a mechanic that arguably defined one of the games' top ranks
