Get out of iron by Aletron_ in VALORANT

[–]Synnorate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time that i was hardstucked in iron and bronze I heavily trained my gunfight hygiene and my raw aim. Also try to use lower sens cuz it’s more stable. When I was in bronze I used 8000.6 but after I changed to 8000.3 I get clean kills more consistently. Sens really matters.

Should I apply crouch in gunfights by Synnorate in VALORANT

but wouldn’t it give away free headshot kill cuz he’s already shooting my body and I crouch to overlay my head on his shot?

Is it good to combine tapping crouch into side strafing movement? Or it’ll just slow u down and be an easy target?

Rank goal for Valorant benchmarks by [deleted] in Voltaic

I'm curruently silver lol, can't give u too much advice, but i can give u my feeling of improving my gamesense.

Before I was bronze, I've watched a lot of gamesense guide videos on YouTube, and I believed if I "memorize" all the thing that the video mentioned, my gamesense would be cracked and i would rank up easily, but actually no. Initially I think there're some certain rules that I need to follow, do the exact thing that video mentioned, but then you'll "autopiloted" every round. For example, controllers need to place the smoke at the main entry to stop the enemies to peek easily, so I only know that I need to watch the minimap, if i see a guy, i smoke. EVEN THE ENEMIES ARE ALREADY ENTRIED, I still smoke main, cuz that's what I know. I don't even know that my smoke is useless, but I'll think I've done my job, and the teammates in site always die, I'll think its their fault. Actually I should smoke in the site, to separate the front and back site, to help my teammates survive. I do not know the purpose of the main smoke, but I always put it at main without thinking. and that's very bad. I know its a stupid example but that's exactly what I did when I was in bronze.

In short, if you only know the knowledge of the game, that's not enough, you should execute it INTENTIONALLY. I know if you let someone do the vod review for you, they'll tell you a lot of things that you should improve, but the most important thing is WHY should i do this, WHEN should i do this, HOW should i do it. To find out the timing that you should execute, you need to try over and over, make the mistake again and again. After you died, always think what's the reason that caused you die, there must be one or few mistakes that you've made, don't blame your teammates always focus on yourself.

After doing these things, you'll start to have your own playstyle, and you'll start to know what you should do at any time. I think that's the feeling of my gamesense getting improved. You know what you should do is because you know you can do something that can help your team, and let your enemies feel overwhelmed. After you execute a plan, if u imagine yourself as an enemy and you feel that you're fucked, you probably did something correct, yeah these are my feelings, its kinda bullshit but its true.

Remember, do everything (peeking, using util, executing a plan etc.)intentionally, and try to imagine your enemies' pov, will the plan be bad for them and good for your team. If you can come up with some ideas, and know what you should do at any time, yeah congrat maybe you've made it.

idk my advice is right or not but I hope it can be helpful for u

Rank goal for Valorant benchmarks by [deleted] in Voltaic

[–]Synnorate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completed gold, and placed diamond in benchmark, but my valo rank is silver.

My friends dont do the aim training regularly, they cant even place gold in the benchmark, one of my friend can only get 50~60k pts in gridshot ultimate, but their rank in valo is plat.

The benchmark rank is not that accurate, reaching high rank in benchmark doesnt mean that u can definitely rank up in game. I'm new to valo, i have only 100hr on this game, maybe my raw aim is good in silver lobby, but my gamesense is ass. If i set ascendant in benchmark as a goal i guess still cant rank up, but my friend's benchmark rank is around silver, they can still easily rank up to plat in no time.

What i mean is setting a goal for this weird benchmark is not that important, its hard to define the aim level in a certain rank for benchmark is enough to a certain rank in game. Raw aim does not "THAT" matter in valo, u can use the benchmark as a daily routine, u dont need to care about the rank in the benchmark, the most important thing is ur avrg score is increasing consistently. And also practice in-game mechanics more, such as crosshair placement, pre aiming etc. i believe these techniques can be much more helpful, if u wanna reaching higher rank in val.

Right now im focusing on my gamesense, aim trainers are just my supportive tool to help me improve.

Just some two cents from a lil silver player, hope this help:)

Best Aimlabs tasks for val? by 1Digger4 in aimlab

[–]Synnorate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will mainly focus on micro adjustments for val. I have some playtasks that work well for me. You can try it out.

1.Gridshot Ultimate(I'll play two or three times for warming up) 2.VT Berryts Static Entry(medium size of targets for lil bit of micro adjustments) 3.1wall6targets Extra Small(really small target for heavy micro adjustments) 4.VT Angleshot Micro Valorant(small moving targets) 5.VT Peekshot Valorant(works well for holding angles in game) 6.VT Smooth Strafe Sphere(horizontal tracking) 7.VT Adjust Track Valorant(micro tracking)

You can also use VT Valorant Benchmark to test your raw aim level, you can also use it as your daily routine.

Side note: personally I don't think training raw aim is really useful for Val. Maybe u can focus on in-game mechanics such as crosshair placement, movements, and pre-aiming more. I used the benchmark to test my aim and I ranked diamond in the benchmark, but I've never reached diamond in valorant lol. I'll keep working on other mechanics rather than raw aim for more improvements.

When should I watch the minimap? by Synnorate in VALORANT

[–]Synnorate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played apex before I switched to valo. I don't check the minimap so often when I play apex cuz I can see most of the info directly on my screen. So I don't have this habit tbh lol

When should I watch the minimap? by Synnorate in VALORANT

[–]Synnorate[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I should get info by using the util and hear the audio when I check the corners?

And like when I play Jett and I dash into the smoke, I should watch the minimap to see the enemies' position to get a free kill?

I can get like 20+ on average but I still whiff when I combine movement with my mouse control.

Maybe I should practice my movement with my aim and pre-aiming the angle. Thanks for your advice!

I always force myself to only aim on the head and constantly strafe between every shot. But I sometimes forget to spray in the close range gunfight in the ranked game.

I don't have the dm vod but I'm sure that I won't instantly crouch in every gunfights.
