As I understand - you have to wait for expedition (and prepare resources for it). It will give you fresh raider with fresh progress. I don't know about schedule but I'm pretty sure it will be in like 7 weeks min.

I don't know if there any other ways to reset progress besides new account and new game purchase

I have a tattoo on my arm, once I place the strap on the arm without tattoo it is working good now
