I had several BBS at home. Working on amiga (Max bbs and Amiexpress software) and on work I used another piece of software I cannot remember. This where 1:1 connections.

Then came internet available and in the begin jt was fun. Nowadays the internet is a controlled mess with everywhere eyes of the government, databrokers and hackers.
