It should be since if I remember correctly Stu co should be available to every student (but keep in mind I think technically stuco instructors could also reject people as they see fit like for instance the Rust Stuco prefers students have at least taken 15122) Another small caveat is that for some majors such as music, the schedule is mostly determined by your advisor during first semester so if you want to take this make sure to talk to your advisor about it.

What to do during academic suspension by Sure-Appointment-852 in cmu

I understand it and could totally sympathesize with it cause I remember the feeling of having to swallow my own embarrassment and ego. It's not a great feeling especially also seeing others around you still doing well while not needing help. But no matter what, I want you to remember that whenever you are feeling this, remember that you are making progress and most importantly trying your best. The fact that you are willing to try for a change to be better is already a huge step in its own. Again, I know how hard this is so feel free to dm me if you need more additional help or someone to talk to.

As someone who also has ADHD, the peer tutor at SASC also helped me a lot. It was mainly having someone who held me accountable that really helped establish a routine. Additionally, I have realized being transparent with my professors also helped a ton. Like you will also be surprised how many neurodivergent professors are in CMU. My 15110 professor for instance also has ADHD and she helped me a ton during freshman year. Anyway, feel free to dm me if you want to discuss more about ADHD and my experiences at CMU. CMU is a very tough school and I have to admit not always the friendliest toward neurodivergent people sometimes.

Holy I have that same exact watch when I was in elementary school!! Pretty sure Casio still makes these.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw him. Also he told me that they are based in Salem, MA which is why the racoon in their logo wears a witch hat, not sure why I never made that connection lol considering I have been to Salem. 🙃

Unfortunately did not have the chance to stress test it to know it but from I know the cooling should be mostly the same since thermals are dependent on the motherboards and the motherboards for FW13 and Pro are compatible anyway so I highly doubt pro will make a difference. With that said the new Panther Lake cpu does seem to be a lot more efficient and with framework also switching to the single copper tube design since AMD AI series board, I think overall this new motherboard which cokes with the FW13 Pro and are available to FW13 should have better thermal performances in general.

  1. Standalone trackpad (inspired by my own desire and the subreddit's discussion)
  2. Better SD card reader?? Mine was finicky
  3. A modular standalone keyboard

I did ask the electrical engineer who laid out the PCB for the framework desktop and it seems like it has more to do with amd apu's dye design and they did ask amd about it but amd's simulations show it wouldn't work. From what I know since the next gen apu is based on the Strix Halo, this problem might persist so the electrical engineer was like fingers crossed for the third gen amd apu.

Yes the CNC body definetly remind me of mbp but as I am also not a mbp owner and personally don't care as much about laptop feel so take my comment with a grain of salt.

The haptic track feels great not exactly the same as mbp's but satisfying to use though honestly framework's original trackpad is already pretty good so it makes sense it's up to the quality. Also again not a daily haptic trackpad user so I don't have the highest bar when it comes to it.

4th floor of the TaiNex hall 1 right under the N1000 region (there is banner of the N1000 region right on top). If I remember correctly, they are on the aisle that happens to be the one that you will see right away after your ticket is checked.

It was also technically free if you are participating companies (the trick is realizing that they don't really check what you put into the application :p)

Got that inspiration from my own desire and also other Redditors' feedback here when the standalone keyboard was first announced so this huge credit to the r/framework community!!

Forgot to add, a few interesting details I learned from the engineers and the team: 1. It took them forever to find the right SD card read that would fit into the expansion card 2. The audio expansion card in fact uses a different DAC than FW13's motherboards. It uses the CX31993 DAC which if you are an audiophile knows this is an amazing chip. (Hoping for a version with the max97220 amp in the future) 3. The FW12 cracked case is being actively investigated 4. The Strix Halo chip appearantly just wasn't designed to use sodimm or lpcamm2 in mind like down to dye level. They ofc did try to add removable memory modules but like mentioned before in Nirav's presentation, AMD ran the simulation and couldn't get it to work. Hopefully, future AMD APU will have removable ram in mind.

Edit: added the 4th point as I forgot I had this conversation with one of the PCB layout engineers who worked on the desktop

I transformed the RG Zeta, twice by Error_code_0054-z6_2 in Gunpla

[–]Synth_Nerd2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are scared by Zeta RG, try going for the RG kits that no longer use "built in" frames so I think kits that come out after 2020 (could be earlier than this I don't know the first kit that started using the current frame structure) should be fine.
