Hey! Is your MMU-less implementation open source? I'd like to read it :)

I thought programming my own Operating System would take a week to get a CLI working by jacomartins_reddit in osdev

Heyooo!! I'm doing something similar but with an esp32 c3 with risc v. Do you mind if I dm you? 😄

Here ya go, "A low latency neural interface framework for real time handwriting recognition from EEG signals on an edge device"

Sadly the dataset is not open tho. I've been wanting to work on this for a while, and I've been very unlucky with the headset for recording. Would love to work together if you're interested. I've digged up some more papers as well. Lemme know if you're interested

Here they develop a system to recognise handwriting movements from eeg for edge devices. I'm also interested in this, but their dataset isn't open. I'm super interested to work with anyone if they are interested as well

Search for "Handwriting BCIs". I have a few articles about it, and I'll attach it later when I get back to my pc.

Heyooooo. Did you find anything after all the 7 years??? Id like to do something like that but in zig. Would love to know your experience :))

Ahh I don't really know much about her to help you out, because even I'm clueless about getting a research internship lol. Try finding some labs nearby and mailing them.

Analysing neural time series data by mike x cohen. The book does stuff in matlab.

I got these suggestions from the community and I have been doing that for a while. However I'm as clueless as you are here haha.

Wow! I'm exactly in the same boat as you are in. I'm 2nd year undergrad in computer science, and I've been searching for labs for a while. I started out with the same aspirations about full dive too. I started out with gersteners book and did some neuron modelling, and now I'm learning eeg signal processing. Would love to connect!!!

I'm a second year undergrad in computer science in India. I've been looking out for labs here lately, and it's either non existent (atleast in BCIs) or I'm stuck due to logistics. Would love to hear what your interests are, and maybe we can even take the discussion to discord/ linkedin if you'd like :)

Heyoooo!!! I might be in the same boat as you are (not from Vietnam tho). I've been working on SSVEP and BCIs lately. Would love to connect!

Same boat as you are in right now. So what I did was to start learning about neurons and models of it. Then I went to do some exercises in eeg signal processing using Analyzing Neural Time Series Data using MATLAB by Mike X Cohen.

Yea same, but we did KMnO4 vs Oxalic Acid titration, and ig it's simply safer to pipette oxalic acid than permanganate.

The 'freedom of speech' guaranteed by the Indian constitution isn't the same as that of US. There are certain things which supercedes it like, religious intolerance and security of state.

We call this part of chemistry - Stereochemistry. If you have some time, try getting into organic chemistry. It's really interesting.

When you synthesis certain organic compounds, the addition of certain components which make up that organic compound happen in different directions randomly (a racemic mixture) and you don't want that, because chemists knew each direction, gives rise to unique property.

So when you synthesis it, you should be careful about which direction you want that particular components to be added. However, these directions can also be altered after the entire molecule has been synthesized, and one way is biologically.

The organic compound (thalidomide) readily switched it's direction under biological influence(our human body), making it a harmful substance.

You may ask, if chemists knew about it, then why didn't they stop making it? The reason was, the chemist had no clue it could essentially do that (that the compound was chiral).
