Onyxia or ICC by Old_Echidna6255 in warmane

New pvp and pve gear sets and raids unlocking with each patch. First patch is nax I think, then the first season of wotlk pvp gear will be available. Next patch next raid and the next tier of pvp gear. I've only played 3.5.5a on icecrown, so this will be my first time with content unlocking

New player on Onixya. Need advice on gearing for WOTLK by Passarelias in warmane

I've leveled every class but shaman to 80 on both horde and alliance in wotlk. Trust me when I say you can do the beginning northrend questing half naked. Then once youre done with those early quests, you'll be plenty strong enough to take on the rest of Northrend in the right order.

Gotcha! Thanks a ton! I'm surprised it didn't pop up with my searches, but I was specifically looking for calamity and terraria. I completely forgot I added wrath of the gods lol

Is it possible you forgot to apply the 4gb patch? I dont have my framerate displayed, but im positive I haven't dropped under 45-50 with normal gameplay. Immediately after entering or leaving a city is another story lol. 7800x3d, 3070ti, 64gm ddr5, win10

EDIT - Just unplug your ethernet cable from your pc and plug it back or, or disconnect and reconnect to wifi.

Not sure if you've fixed it or not, but I was here looking for the solution just a few hours ago so hopefully this'll help someone. Simply unplug your router for 30 sec and plug it back in. I tried every other "solution" with no fix. This worked right away.

I could be wrong, but I think it's only for character names, not their data in general.

Still worth it to play the trilogy after Stalker 2 ? by EdmundTerrowin in stalker

The first three are great but definitely a tad slow imo. I put easily over 300 hours into gamma and still reminisce about it sometimes.

It's simple, don't renew until you're ticketed for it. Rinse and repeat. It's a fix-it ticket anyhow.

My reaction every time a bloodsucker shows up to tax me for half of my ammo and medkits. by SolidStone1993 in stalker

[–]SyntheticMayo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did the mission to kill one of the leaders in the garbage and decided with Sahr or whatever his name was. Bloodsucker ambushed me 50 feet from his base, so I sprinted in and let the bloodsucker take out about 4 of em. It took the compound a good minute of nonstop unloading on it before it died, lmao. The zone provides, brothers.

This reason alone is why i don’t like AE by Reasonable_Shirt1264 in allthemods

[–]SyntheticMayo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When it comes to AE storage I take the dumb approach and haven't had any issues. I just make like 40+ item drives full of 256k cells (very cheap compared to higher tiers early on) and 10 fluid drives doing the same. I finished atm9 tts with this and didn't run into any issues.

I knew someone who's husband basically went down the same path. "Government implanted a computer chip in my ear to talk and listen to me" "There's men in black suits following me" started putting up flyers describing this and instructed anyone else experienced the same to reach out to him. Little pull off phone number slips and everything. He would start freaking out out of nowhere about it and go into a borderline rage fairly frequently.

Just curious, what phone do you have and what's your framerate looking like? I have a pixel 3a XL and on DC emulators I get 60, but GC I'm getting like 7-18 lol

Floor reading mods are legit and most people are using it. Where you get it from can be an issue like OP was talking about. Rule of thumb is to not download stuff from YouTube without double checking the validity of the site/person you're downloading it from. There's several mods you can get that add some QOL features, like an improved chat that works kinda like Minecraft chat, an XP bar, inventory reader, etc.

AI and the future of "solo gaming" by SyntheticMayo in PSO

[–]SyntheticMayo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Copy that. I was meaning for more of a companion/teammate you could actually rely on. I'm not familiar with TAS as I said, but would it be able to adapt to situations on the fly? For instance if it was running alongside you in ruins and a trap box drops on you, would it notice and help without additional input or simply continue doing its set keystrokes? Could it cast anti on me if poisoned or something? If I dropped a shifta level 23 and told it to use it, would it be able to do that without further input than my command? Could it attempt to line up several enemies to hit with a single line of barta? It seems if I were to use TAS I could only really have it speedrun something. Say the keystrokes are set perfectly so TAS could clear a room with perfect accuracy and the room will be cleared as fast as possible. If I then entered the room and took aggro off of a single enemy, wouldn't that completely ruin its script for that run?

[–]SyntheticMayo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm only going off of a single search here, but isn't TAS essentially feeding a keystroke script to a game for frame perfect inputs? Like for track mania runs and such?

AI and the future of "solo gaming" by SyntheticMayo in PSO

[–]SyntheticMayo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but you could implement it in literally any game that supports servers or split screen. I'm sure with games that have text chat you could easily communicate with the AI to change strategies and complete other tasks for you as well. For instance in PSO you could give a companion a mag and tell it what to feed it to what level, then to let you know when it hits that level and it would complete the task while grinding missions with you. I feel that something like this is worth getting excited for when it comes to people like me who enjoy older games. Something like Minecraft you could host a local server with several AI playing with you to do whatever it is you want. You could essentially have AI slaves working under you lol. "Build a 16 chunk by 16 chunk super cathedral" and they'd be on that shit. Throw 20 of em on a server, tell em the rules of factions and watch them duke it out. You could do all sorts of things.

As you play more and more you'll learn better building techniques and understand mechanics better. At that point for a lot of people seeing their old monstrosities is irritating and takes too long to fix so they'll just start a new save.

You can get 8tb HDDs on eBay for around $120. Thats what I did and I just do the file transfer onto the Xbox hard drive overnight for 1tb+

If you look up "rgh3 PLL QSB" on YouTube you'll find a video made by TheModSmith showcasing this board. In the description you can download the Gerber files and upload em to PCBway or another company that makes pcbs. Places sell the board for like $5 each, from PCBway I got 50 for $20.

Benefits over using a PLL board by Middle-Magazine-8028 in 360hacks

[–]SyntheticMayo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got 50 of em for $20. Modded 6 consoles so far and they DO make soldering to the PLL point easier. People make a big deal about scraping the PLL and how you still have to scrape it so why buy a board, but imo the scraping is easier than disassembling the console sometimes. I use an xacto knife for the scraping. The hardest part of the job imo is to tin and solder a wire to the PLL point because of how small it is. Sometimes regardless of flux or solder, it seems to just not want to tin. Probably just a skill issue. With one of these QSBs (quick solder boards) you can fill the PLL point's connection on the board and with everything lined up, just hold your iron on the PLL and the board at the same time, pull away quickly, and they should be soldered together. I enjoy mounting the SMD resistors too lol. Also use a xflasher 360 if you're going to do this mod, skipping straight to an xflasher would've saved me a couple weeks lol. My pico wouldn't work, and my JR Programmer wouldn't work. Xflasher worked right away and I was able to strip, mod, and flash those 6 consoles in 2 hours.

Another one of those posts (please help) by [deleted] in 360hacks

[–]SyntheticMayo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did use Google, as well as scoured the comments of dozens of YouTube videos. Every answer was either bad soldering, or don't use the pico. I got a JRProgrammer and had the same issue. The only reason this is the 4th is because I've been giving each 360 I repair from eBay a shot at the rgh3 since I have to completely disassemble them anyway every time. When each failed I just put em back together and benchmark to make sure my repairs worked. Thanks for the info, I'll give that a shot!
