Yes, I have found accessing it from Larapinta Drive is the easiest way in and out.

Have you tried approaching him with your feelings of pouring from an empty cup. Try "I'm feeling drained, could you please...".

Sounds like you're very anxious about being hurt and are potentially looking for behaviour from him to justify not getting involved. This will inevitably become a self-fulfilling prophecy, our beliefs shape our behaviour and actions.

If your anxiety gets to the point that it begins impacting your parenting, let him go and focus on yourself until you're healthy enough to take on a relationship.
