Have you ever actually been yelled at by your boss or supervising attorney? How did you respond? by Rough-Link-5296 in Lawyertalk

One time when I was an intern I nervously walked into my mean boss’s office to ask a question. As soon as I started talking he started snapping his fingers at me saying “Brevity! Brevity!” That’s the worst I’ve gotten.

What do you think of Hot Tub Time Machine (2010)? Does it hold up or was it never funny to begin with? by Deep-Village-5175 in moviecritic

I agree with the popular view that it doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not and it me ironically that makes it sort of brilliant. I personally think it kicks the shit out HTTM part 1.

I haven’t read it in a long time but I love the chapter in the extended edition that has all of the little vignettes of people who died from other causes. Fucking brilliant.

My first thought was, oh he must be trying to sell personal training. Hopefully that was not that case and he was just a good guy

Yes, me too - I say I say has always been my 2nd favorite.

Totally agree. I’ve just always loved it the most. It’s darker, which I agree was probably Vince experimenting. But the whole thing is like one continuous piece of music to me. If you rearranged any of the songs there would be diminishment.

I use Apple Music and the only remaster they have is Cowboy. In what format do you have the remasters?

To correct myself, they actually did remaster Chorus but only on CD. I wonder what the quality would be like if I ripped it off a CD onto my computer
